Illinois Woman Arrested After Driving With Two Children In An Inflatable Pool On Car Roof

(Dixon PD)

Jennifer A. Janus Yeager, 49, may have the distinction of the most reckless driving incident in recent memory.  She was pulled over in her Audi Q5 at Dixon, Illinois with an inflatable pool having two children inside.  When asked to explain herself, Yeager said that the two children were helping hold the pool to the top of the car.

Jennifer A. Janus Yeager is facing several charges related to the incident.

Yeager was charged with two counts of endangering the health or life of a child, two counts of reckless conduct, and failure to secure a passenger between 8 and 16.

These are very serious charges for very serious criminal acts.  However, what should be the punishment if she is a first offender in your view?

  1. Really…really….I see the gene pool getting even more shallow as I type….has this blob met A.O.C. yet? What a pair they would make !

Alas two things form our behaviors and biology: genes /nature (20%) and externals/nurture (80%).
The 1960s saw the plunge in the latter and I don’t mean global warming.

But hey! at least there is Krispy Kreme Donuts, a comfortable couch and a WiFi

She was overheard to say: “If only there was a way to decrease the size of the pool to fit it into my car. Alas, some things are mysteries.”

    1. She had taken the pool somewhere to have it inflated and was taking it home. Why she could not have arranged to have it inflated at hero own home is a mystery.

  3. Provide her clean water for the swimming pool and join her with the kids to laugh and enjoy a hot summer day.

Relax. Ala Hillary Clinton and James Comey, there was lack of criminal intent.

    🙃

  4. You get to a certain point in life, you have the face you deserve. (Which in her case may be punishment enough).

The smart money says she wasn’t sober when she loaded those youths in the raft.
