WAYNE MONBLEAU - "To My Shepherd" (1977 US Private Xian Folk)

Wayne Monbleau is that rare example of a folk-singer who can do magical things within a purely acoustic setting.
He’s similar to Bruce Cockburn in that respect, but there is also an uncanny resemblance to Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, not only in the vocals but also the excellent guitar work and overall progressive acoustic style.
In particular ‘2,000 Years Ago’, ‘John The Baptist’ and ‘The Way, The Truth, And The Life’ all sound like they were cut from the same cloth as some of the more unplugged Tull endeavors (such as Minstrel In The Gallery).
All ten songs are strong, making To My Shepherd one of the most cohesive and remarkable folk recordings in Christian music.
(Ken Scott – The Archivist).

Another Xian Folk LP but an excellent album in my opinion !

Private 1975 Xian Folk LP from David Veglahn out of Loma Linda, CA.
A fantastic album front-to-back.
All music and lyrics are original (and great) compositions written by David.
Mellow, miminal loner folk with sparse but rich orchestral accompaniement.
