The Foundation accepts donations through Liberapay, various cryptocurrencies (currently Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Monero),Flattr or into our bank account. With the exception of Liberapay and the cryptocurrencies (where donations are anonymous by default), all donors and donations will be listed on the List of Donors page, unless you specify that you wish to remain anonymous.

Buildbot Sponsorships

It is also possible for companies or individuals to support the development of MariaDB by donating computing resources to the Foundation.

MariaDB developers use a continuous integration system called Buildbot, which is used to run an extensive test suite on every commit. Buildbot helps us make sure there are no regressions and that the code quality keeps improving constantly.

Our CI system is fully public and you can see the builds being run here.

To start a Buildbot sponsorship:

1. Contact “foundation ‘at’ mariadb (dot) org” and tell us what kind of machine you’d be willing to donate (VPS/Dedicated, Processor, CPU, RAM, Storage…)
2. We will let you know if we can take advantage of the offer.
3. Send us the details on how to get access to the machine.
4. If you want to, send us your logo. We are more than happy to show our appreciation by adding your logo/link to our Buildbot sponsors -page.
