Authorities are investigating a package that tested positive for sarin at a mail center near Facebook's headquarters in Menlo Park, California. Emergency hazmat crews are working to identify the contents of the package.

Fire officials say routine tests for chemicals detected the presence of sarin in a mail facility. It’s possible that the detection is a false positive. We expect to get a briefing from within the hour. Facebook officials have yet to comment.
