By the end of the video he seems to give up and accepts leaping on to the seat with just his front legs over is enough. And the video shows how its excitement builds as it starts to understand what the swing actually does. Hopping backwards and forwards around the outdoor toy the joey pushes the swing around - with it actually hitting him in the head at one point.
