Police confirmed the search for missing Mackenzie Lueck (inset) is now a murder investigation after the student's burned remains were found at the home of a person of interest. The homeowner, Ayoola 'AJ' Ajayi (right) , 31, was arrested earlier today (left) and has now been charged with aggravated murder, aggravated kidnapping, desecration of a human body and obstruction of justice. Lueck, a 23-year-old sorority member, disappeared after taking a Lyft car on June 17 from the airport to a park located miles away from her apartment in Salt Lake. She had just flown in from Los Angeles after attending her grandmother's funeral and has not been heard from since. Her friends revealed that there had been activity on her social media on Wednesday, when someone liked a page called 'fatherless'. Police confirmed on Friday that a search of Ajayi's home found burned personal belongings and female human tissue, which matches Lueck's DNA profile. 

President Donald Trump avoided a question about Jamal Khashoggi during a meeting with the Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, whom he called 'my friend.' The two men met in Osaka at the G20 summit for the first time since the killing. Trump said he has a 'great relationship' with MBS. He called him 'my friend.'

President Donald Trump caught up with Argentina's first lady María Juliana Awada Baker during a G20 photo op, chatting with her several times during a photo event. The Argentine was standing behind him during G20 photo shoot at Osaka castle. Trump turned around several times to engage her in conversation, also chatting with her husband President Mauricio Macri.

Daniel Tuski Bertrand, 25, was arrested and charged with 4th-degree assault, a misdemeanor offence, after the attack in the Downtown area of Portland, Oregon. The unnamed 44-year-old woman reportedly suffered a broken eye socket in the attack, and later told local news: 'I'm just happy to be alive and to have my eyesight.' Bouncers from the street, where the alleged assault happened on Southwest 2nd avenue and Ankeny Street, shared the footage.Bertrand was charged, and has since been released. Multnomah County District Attorney's Office told KOIN 6 that he is homeless.

United States soccer team captain Megan Rapinoe's remarkable week continued Friday as she scored both of America's goals in a 2-1 win over World Cup host France to advance to a semifinal matchup with England. Rapinoe, who once again refused to sing the national anthem before the game (left), netted a free kick in the fifth minute with a low shot under the feet of the French defense (right). France's goalkeeper Sarah Bouhaddi nearly got a boot on the ball, but the free kick still managed to find the net without being deflected. Rapinoe, who scored both of America's goals in the team's previous win over Spain, put the U.S. up 2-0 on a secondary break in the 65th minute after getting a perfect cross from teammate Tobin Heath and easily scoring with her left foot. Heath nearly had her own goal in the 75th minute, but the U.S. was called offsides on the would-be goal. France's Wendie Renard scored a header off a free kick in the 81st minute to cut America's lead in half. With a win against France, the U.S. would move on to face England in the semifinals on Tuesday. The French nearly scored in the 57th minute, but Eugénie Le Sommer misfired from nearly point blank range. Her teammate Kadidiatou Diani had a chance on a break moments later, but U.S. defender Crystal Dunn deflected the shot to retain the lead.

Chelsea, 39, attended Pride Live's annual Stonewall Day celebration on Friday. The former first daughter was among the famous faces who took the stage near the iconic New York City gay bar the Stonewall Inn. The event commemorated the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Riots - an uprising that catalyzed the LGBTQ rights movement. Chelsea wore a billowy pink dress by Hatch and nude wedges to the celebration, which also kicked off WorldPride weekend. Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Donatella Versace, and Whoopi Goldberg were among the celebrities who addressed the crowd at the event.

Jordan Lindsey, 21, of California died after she was viciously attacked by sharks while snorkeling on Rose Island in the Bahamas on Wednesday. Mom Kami  'got to Jordan and pulled Jordan to shore by herself', her dad said. Her dad, brothers and girlfriend 'were on another part of the island' swimming. She was in the water with a snorkeling tour when she was attacked around 2pm. Her right arm was torn off and she had bites to her left arm, legs and buttocks. Lindsey's death was the first fatal shark attack in the Bahamas in over a decade.The mother and daughter are pictured together left.

Zoe Kravitz beamed with delight as she arrived for a pre-wedding dinner in Paris on Friday.  The Big Little Lies star, 30, will tie the knot with Karl Glusman this weekend and hosted a rehearsal dinner at Restaurant Lapérouse in Paris. She put her edgy twist on bridal white by wearing a sparkling beaded mesh dress over a crop top and bike shorts while her groom-to-be wore a blue suit.

Carmelo, 35, was photographed Tuesday on a yacht in southern France with a mystery woman in a leopard print swimsuit (inset). The photos emerged as bloggers accused him of cheating on his wife La La Anthony, who was in New York City celebrating her 26th birthday. Carmelo claimed that the woman on the yacht was with her husband and family. However, Sara, a 28-year-old model and actress, is believed to be the mystery woman and she is reportedly not married. One gossip blog claimed they met in Paris, France. Carmelo was in the City of Light last week to attend the men's shows during Paris Fashion Week. Little is known about Sara, who made her Instagram account private overnight amid the speculation. Carmelo and La La have been married since 2010 and share a 12-year-old son. They split briefly last year amid rumors he fathered a child with another woman. La La is said to be 'a wreck' over the photos despite Carmelo's denials.

A private investigator now earns a living as a 'Coffin Confessor' - gatecrashing funerals at the request of the dead to share on their behalf what they couldn't get off their chest when they were alive. Bill Edgar, from the Gold Coast, started the world-first business last year when he was hired as a private detective by an elderly man who was terminally ill.  While on his death bed, the 79-year-old had one last request for Mr Edgar - to interrupt his own funeral.

Joe Biden's, 'My time's up,' comment in the Democratic presidential debate was mocked on social media by his critics. Biden uttered the phrase after he was given a 30-second warning following a heated exchange with California Sen. Kamala Harris. Twitter critics soon went to town on the comment with some speculating the words would define his campaign. Others criticized Biden for not making the most of every second.

NASA's Apollo-era Mission Control has been restored to the way it looked 50 years ago when two men landed on the moon. Friday's grand opening - just three weeks shy of the 50th anniversary of humanity's first lunar footsteps - culminates years of work and millions in donations. It opens to the public Monday.The goal was 'to capture the look and feel of July of '69,' said NASA's restoration project manager Jim Thornton.

The $19.99 doll debuted this month after being announced during the New York Toy Fair in February as part of Mattel's 2019 Barbie Fashionistas line. The toy company worked with UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital and wheelchair experts to design the wheelchair, which comes with a DreamHouse-compatible ramp. Fans have been taking to Twitter to gush about the inclusive doll, which is rocking natural hair, sunglasses, and a stylish outfit while sitting in a wheelchair. Mattel previously sold Barbies who used wheelchairs in the '90s; however, many people noted that the Becky dolls' wheelchairs didn't fit into the Dreamhouse and the toy was later discontinued.

Twitter user Theodore Gussie shared examples of the funny tactic to the social media platform on Wednesday, June 26. The Chicago-based user wrote: 'Sometimes when my girl makes me mad I upload pictures with her forehead edited to be slightly bigger'. He accompanied the tweet with a photo that he had edited to make his girlfriend Adilene Venegas' forehead appear larger than normal. Since he shared the tweet, it has gone viral, garnering over 260,000 likes.

A public auction of Oleg Cassini's estate in Long Island, New York reveals a treasure trove of personal mementos, never before seen photos, fashion sketches and intimate letters from the notorious playboy who is credited with with creating Jackie Kennedy's 'look' during the Camelot years when he was employed as her personal couturier. Cassini came to America in 1939 as a penniless Russian aristocrat before he propelled himself into society's most exclusive circles; once married to Gene Tierney and briefly engaged to Grace Kelly (top right). He became most infamous for his reputation as an international polo playing Lothario who had liaisons with Marilyn Monroe, Betty Grable and Lana Turner.

For generations the semi-nomadic Himba tribe have made the Otjize paste, a red substance (centre), to cover their braided hair and skin with. Its rich red colouring is meant to symbolise the earth and blood and is an ideal of beauty among the 50,000-strong tribe in western Kaokoland, northern Namibia. Pre-pubescent girls maintain their hair in two simple braids (left) called ozondato, the form being determined by her oruzo or the paternal clan she belongs to. And married women also add a headdress to their look, which is made from animal skins (right).

Judy Fleunik (left pictured in April) filed her lawsuit on Tuesday, claiming that mark came about after she visited a makeup counter at a store location at the Baybrook Mall in Houston in February 2018. To her dismay, discoloration from the mark still remains on her skin.

A bride's big, choreographed wedding dance stunt nearly ended in tears due to her father's over enthusiasm for his role. Like many contemporary brides, Samara Fraker decided to entertain guests at her January wedding in San Antonio, Texas, by choreographing a special dance with her father. Part of the routine involved the famous run-and-lift scene from the movie Dirty Dancing, but, as Fraker told Storyful , because she was too heavy for her dad to hoist up into the air above his head, she decided to have one of her flower girls take on the stunt instead. A guest's video captured the moment when what should have been the highlight of the daddy-daughter dance wound up going horribly pear-shaped.

A Georgia Chick-fil-A employee is being hailed a hero after he jumped out of the drive-thru window to save a boy who was choking inside a nearby car. Teenager Logan Simmons (inset left), of Hall County, Georgia, was working the Flowery Branch Chick-fil-A's (inset right) drive-thru window on Wednesday when a woman pulled up saying that her six-year-old son was choking on his seat belt. Surveillance video, obtained by WSBTV, shows the moment when Simmons climbs out of the drive-thru window and runs off to help the struggling child (left). Additional footage from the drive-thru line, obtained by Fox News, appears to show Simmons inside the woman's car as she stands outside the open car door (right). After a few moments, Simmons exits the car and heads back towards the restaurant while the woman gets into the driver's seat.

A wild video filmed by Chris Coleman shows clouds flying over Verona, Wisconsin, at approximately 9.16am central time on Wednesday. According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, roughly three hours northeast of Verona, scattered storms were hitting the eastern part of the state into the afternoon. A shelf cloud is 'a low, horizontal wedge-shaped cloud, associated with a thunderstorm gust front.'

The adorable joey was filmed by Jeannie Seymour, 54, in her friend's back yard in Muswellbrook, New South Wales, Australia, last week. The marsupial frantically hops around as it tries to jump on to the swing but keeps failing. By the end of the video he seems to give up and accepts leaping on to the seat with just his front legs over is enough. And the video shows how its excitement builds as it starts to understand what the swing actually does. Hopping backwards and forwards around the outdoor toy the joey pushes the swing around - with it actually hitting him in the head at one point.
