Ron Banerjee: "Let's get into a big fight right inside the Eaton's Centre." Attack After Pegida Rally Looks Pre-meditated

We're still going over the events that occurred after yesterday's Pegida rally. Ron Banerjee who was also in attendance (though we didn't know it at the time) posted a grainy video of an attack inside a Toronto mall:

We later learned that the mall was the Eaton's Centre.

Later in the evening Rick Boswick and Derek Storie alluded to other coverage of the event in which they admit to committing assaults in the guise of a "citizen's arrest."

That video was posted on Boswick's YouTube channel and it doesn't make them look good.

I've cut out most of the walking (there's a lot of walking) but kept in the relevant details including:
  • Ron Banerjee goading the counter-protesters and telling them where they are going while also making threats about what will happen.
  • As they walk towards the Eaton's Centre Banerjee saying to Boswick, "lets get into a big fight right inside the Eaton's Centre" to which Boswick replies, "yep."
  • The fight in which involved several of the far right rally members (Nouns of Odin, Canadian Nationalist Party, Yellow Vesters, homophobic street preachers, etc) attack counter-protesters with fists, feet, and weapons.
  • Chris Vanderweide being lauded and then bragging about using helmets as weapons.

It is hard to view this as anything but pre-meditated at this point:

And of course, they are happy as pig in shit:

UPDATE 1: More indication from the video that the far-right were planning on assaulting counter-protesters:

UPDATE 2: Seems that some of the Nouns of Odin, aside from Chris Vanderweide decided not to attend the Pegida rally due to animosity towards some people involved.

Annette Morrison is the "alpha" or "queen" of the Wolves of Odin (because 1. they all need ridiculous, self-aggrandizing titles and 2. none of these groups are especially original). We also learned that Chris Vanderweide appears to have deleted his Facebook profile which we find especially interesting.

UPDATE 3: We have a statement from the man who was taken to the hospital.
As is visible from the video and security footage, all I had done was usher families away from the Nazis within the centre, and got suckerpunched after picking up one of the signs they dropped. I did not make any effort to fight back, instead allowing the attack on camera to unfold. You can clearly see me stop Ylli Radovicka (AKA John Moretti) from utilizing the sharpened metal pole he had used as a weapon on others by grabbing the weapon and refusing to let go.
What's not visible on video is Chris Vanderweide taking swings at passerby, including at a security guard's head which I stopped by reaching behind the guard and blocking the piece of wood with a cross he was carrying. That particular security guard thanked me for my actions.
Not only did I not engage in criminal conduct, but Radovicka, Vanderweide, Boswick, and the CNP had done so on camera whilst facing criminal trials for threatening journalists. As i stated before security brought in paramedics to check me over, Christ-inspired nonviolence towards evil has resulted in a theatrical victory against neo-Nazism.

Old Is New Again: Some Members of Far-Right Attempt To Have Ideological Opponents, Media, and Politicians Jailed

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the "apex" of far-right "patriot" journalism in Canada:

Yep, this is a clip of a drunken Rick Boswick, Derek Storie, and Corey/Kory.... Something-or-Other (I genuinely can't be bothered to look up his last name) defaming a journalist who has already been assaulted by the far-right, complaining about the violence they claim to be subjected to, and talking about bringing paintball guns loaded with glass marbles to shoot at counter-protesters.

Not a good look gentlemen. Not a good look at all.

In any case, the boys here have been rather busy. On weekends they organize Poorly attended Yellow Vest protests on an overpass outside Toronto. They also found themselves the focus of a national news story when, in their Yellow Vest attire, they heckled PM Justin Trudeau and Toronto mayor John Tory during a news conference concerning affordable housing:

As a bit of an aside, I'm not sure complaining about being called white supremacists then going ton to complain about minorities and the persecution of white people (in addition to the New World Order conspiracy theories) really help your case much:

However, the Pegida protest in Toronto on March 23 is what has Boswick and Storie all riled up, especially this tweet from John Tory:

It should be noted that the Pegida Canada rally came hot on the heels of the murder of 50 Muslim worshipers in Christchurch, New Zealand. A couple of days prior to the Pegida Canada rally in Toronto, Faith Goldy and her drones appeared at an anti-racism rally and memorial for the Christchurch victims intent on antagonizing the attendees; Bowswick and Storie came after Goldy's group left.

In fact, both the Pegida Canada rally and the harassment of the memorial were discussed when Goldy interviewed both Boswick and Storie.

Before I post this though, a brief open letter to Faith Goldy.

Hi Faith. May I call you Faith?
You and I need to talk about life choices.
For example, you went from someone who interviewed the now leader of Her Majesty's Official Opposition and, perhaps, future Prime Minister of Canada to being kicked off most social media platforms as a white nationalist and interviewing two unemployed drifters during one of their moments of sobriety while they ranted on about New World Order conspiracy theories.
In the dark hours of the evening, and you experience the Dark Night of the Soul when you can't sleep and find yourself staring at the ceiling, do you ever wonder where it all went wrong Faith?

Boswick and Storie present a narrative of the Pegida members being the victims of unprovoked attacks on March 23. While it certainly was a raucous event with Pegida members outnumbered by 10 to 1, the story isn't really quite as clear cut as the two make it out to be:

Still, this particular bug has really gotten up their butts.

In the they posted where they are heckling Trudeau and Tory, you probably heard Boswick, Storie, or both talking about some sort of legal challenge. They discuss it in slightly more detail at one point:

That's right. They think they can prosecute Tory for a tweet and destroy "antifa" because.... freedom I guess:

Eric Brazau: Islamophobe, Racist, and Liar

On June 21, the following flyer was found on the notice board of a Toronto public library:

The person who posted the flyer did not have permission from the library staff to do so. The flyer itself was also a bald-faced lie:

Edited to protect identity of the individual who
posted this and the group where it was posted.

The person responsible was Eric Brazau:

Eric Brazau has been discussed a number of times on this blog as well as in the MSM with regard to what can be described as blood libels directed towards Muslim-Canadians and Islam in general:

He is also an associated of other hate-mongers including Ron Banerjee, Kevin "Poodle" Johnston, Lynn Redden, and formerly Sandra Solomon before their falling out:

Brazau tried to justify his lie when challenged by James Sears' associate Lawrence McCurry:

First, when Lawrence McCurry appears to be the rational person in the discussion, that says a great deal about the character of the other person. Second, what?!?!

I could go on and on about Brazau's Islamophobic antics, but it should suffice it to post only a few recent examples for those who aren't familiar with him. First regarding the attack in Toronto that left 10 dead and 16 injured, Brazau posted the following:

When challenged....

.... Brazau didn't respond.

Probably because the attack was perpetrated by someone more in line with Brazau's ideological viewpoints.

He also posted the following criticism of the British and Canadian governments regarding their respective immigration ministers:

What is clear is that Brazau is anti-Muslim and that he views every Muslim as an extremist.

But don't for a moment think that he rejects religion playing a primary role in government decisions so long as it is the religion that he subscribes to.

As Brazau writes above, he was a candidate in the most recent Ontario election running as a candidate for the fringe Cultural Action Party:

Brazau wrote the following (and repeats himself, incidentally) regarding his plans should he be elected to office:

Suffice it to say, he performed poorly:

However his post on June 4 also hints that Brazau has embraced racial animus. Other posts seem to confirm this:

Saga is a white nationalist singer from Sweden.
This is her cover of a RaHoWa song.
Lana Lokteff is a white supremacist who is found on YouTube.

Kevin Johnston and Ron Banerjee: "Hallmarks of Hate"

Back in August 2017, Kevin "Poodle" Johnston and Ron Banerjee (Islamophobic, misogynistic, and racist bigots who have been featured on these pages several times already) were sued by Mohamad Fakih, the owner of Paramount Fine Foods, falsely claiming that Mr. Fakih had ties to extremism. Since then Johnston has continued his vendetta posting more videos attacking the integrity of Mr. Fakih and Banerjee hasn't let up either.

Yesterday, we learned that their efforts have been rewarded.... at least if your name is Mohamad Fakih:
Fakih sued for defamation; Johnston and Banerjee wrote in their defence statements that they were exercising their freedom of expression and raising issues of public interest — namely, their objection to the federal government’s $10.5 million settlement paid to Guantanamo Bay detainee Omar Khadr.
But before the case has even gone to trial, a Superior Court of Justice judge has already delivered a preliminary victory for Fakih, ruling Banerjee’s videotaped comments “involve hallmarks of hate” and do not relate to a matter of public interest.
This also means his statements are unprotected by a 2015 Ontario law designed to stop nuisance lawsuits aimed at silencing free expression over matters of public interest. Banerjee invoked the law to try to quash the suit but the judge ruled that allowing him to justify his comments by claiming public interest would be “trivializing” the law’s objectives.
My personal favourite part of this is when Benerjee and Johnston claim that they have never promoted hatred and that Banerjee appears to have thrown Johnston under the bus to try and save his own ass:
Both Banerjee and Johnston have denied the allegations against them in their statements of defence. Banerjee said he has never promoted hatred against any group or people; Johnston — who is also currently facing hate crime charges — said any allegation that he “ever promoted hate is a fabrication.” With respect to his statements that Paramount Fine Foods only served people who are “jihadist” or raped their wives, Banerjee said the comments were “satirical”and published by Johnston, not him.
The ruling can be found here in its entirety.

Truth be told, things haven't been going especially well for Kevin "Poodle" Johnston of later. We already know about the hate crime charges which are of course quite serious (and for which this current legal ruling may very play a role). His claim to have been assaulted at a June 3, 2017 Islamophobic rally were dismissed because he proved to be an unreliable and uncooperative witness. Later he had a hissy fit when Twitter deleted several of his accounts when he was reported by a number of people (yours truly included) for violating the terms and services; back in May he sent a letter suggesting he would be suing Twitter and some of those who reported him for denying him his right to free speech which further indicates he has no idea what is meant by this concept:

JDL Denounces Ronny Cameron; Proud Boy Robert Jones Breaks With JDL

I've stated both on ARC and elsewhere that when one scratches the surface of the "alt-right" xenophobic movement, one can find an antisemite just under that surface.

When I wrote about Ronny Cameron's video with Devon Mannix and Proud Boy member Andrew Zokvic, I asked the question, "why is Meir [Weinstein] and the JDL so friendly with Ronny Cameron?" Given Cameron's own growing comfort with antisemitic stereotypes and his association with people like Mannix and Zokvic, the former who has praised Nazism and the latter who self-identifies as a fascist and who defended Hitler's actions which ultimately culminated in the Holocaust, it was difficult to square this with Meir's own history of opposing Nazis. I figured that in his targeting of Muslim-Canadians, that he may have decided to subscribe to the maxim, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend."

Not satisfied with this, I decided to send Meir a link to the article published on ARC. I didn't think he would respond given our mutual antagonism, but I was surprised to receive the following message a few days later:

Following the link, I found the following posted to Meir's profile:

Many of Meir's supporters posted their view of Cameron, the consensus being that he is antisemite. Cameron replied in what I guess was an effort to defend himself.... by posting a bunch of antisemitic conspiracy theories and stereotypes:

Not surprisingly, Ron Banerjee, who has an intense hatred towards Cameron, was eager to join in:

Jennifer Bush also chimed in:

Meir's was not the only Facebook profile that this discussion went down. There was another that was ultimately nuked, but which also involved Ronny Cameron's middle-aged Proud Boy friend Robert Jones:

There are some screen shots from that discussion that have survived. In those screen shots a British Columbia member of the JDL and Jones appeared to have it out:

They all seem like very nice people, don't they?

Now this dispute is interesting because while Proud Boy Jones is friends with Cameron, he has also attended a number of JDL events:

Because someone said something mean to alpha male Robert Jones, he has decided that Jews are just a bunch of meanies!

Well Here's Your Problem, "Patriots". You Engage In Infighting Because You're All Assholes

I know. Not exactly a dignified title, but the theme of the Islamophobic and bigoted "patriot" movement in Canada attacking each other has really become a cliché at this point. The latest is in regard to the Canadian Combat Coalition rally on Parliament Hill that is being planned for the summer which Dan Dubois claims will be the largest of it's kind in the history of the country.

That said, the Million Canadian March planned for last summer which attracted between 150 and 250 people was to have been the largest rally of it's kind in the history of the country, but we all sort of know how that went and I can't imagine Dubois will do much better with his efforts. In fact he's hit a bit of a snag himself as Sandra Solomon and Artur Pawlowski have taken to Facebook to attack Dubois and the CCC because they claim they were told that in an effort to maintain the secular nature of the event prayer would not be permitted. Of course there's a lot of arguing over exactly what was said, but suffice it to say.... I believe the word they would use would be that people have been "triggered."

Now there are quite literally hours of video that have been posted over the past few days which I may eventually post here should I find the time to remove the extraneous information, but really it mostly consists of these idiots sniping at each other. The screen caps are fun though:

Dan Dubois of Canadian Combat Coalition (An Objectively Stupid Name) Unloads on "White Nationalist" Ronny Cameron

Last Saturday ARC published an article featuring Ronny Cameron chatting it up with convicted domestic abuse jackass Ryan Dean and the antisemitic vice-president of the Worldwide Coalition Against Islam (which isn't so much worldwide as it is in Joey Deluca's apartment) Jesse Wielenga (see here, here, here, here, and here).

Suffice it to say, a lot of people were not at all pleased.

In the third video in which featured Wielenga which in and of itself drew the ire of the JDL's Meir Weinstein, Cameron spent the first half of the video complaining about infighting. He then goes on to attack Dan Dubois and the Canadian Combat Coalition specifically.

Despite being banned from Facebook for violating the terms of service, Dubois was able to get a video out using his girlfriend's phone and vice-president's Facebook account. The following is that video which has been edited for length (holy hell is Duke Willis long winded!) and contains som editorializing. Among those who Dubois calls to be on his video are Ron Banerjee (Rise Canada and Canadian Hindu Advocacy), Duke Willis who is the literal embodiment of "old man yells at cloud", Steven Alexander Schettino Avranas Ismay McCall Gregory Myatt who is associated with the Northern Guard, and a few others.

ARC even gets a number of shout outs.

It is a long video, but it is compelling in it's own car-wreck-that-you-can't-look-away sort of manner:

The comments made by those viewing the video were interesting as well in their own sort of way:
