Goldy Drone Teaches Scouts to Shoot Guns

ARC would like you to meet Darik Horn. Here he is getting settled in at a Canadian Anti-Hate Network event in Newmarket, Ontario this week:

Darik has a lot going for him compared to many of his colleagues. For one thing, he's book smart. Or should I say, computer smart. According to his LinkedIn profile, he has a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo with a Minor in Information Systems, Business, Economics and Human Resources from Wilfrid Laurier University. His recent work history is a bit patchy, but he spent 4 years at Navtech, now NAVBLUE, a company that specializes in aviation operations software. He's also been with BrightBlock, and appears to be the brains behind DBAN (Darik's Boot and Nuke), a very well respected open-source project that securely wipes hard drives.

Darik tries to be a helpful guy both online and off, and he looks out for his friends, like Paul Fromm

Despite giving this advice in October 2018,  Fromm has yet to fix the problem. It's quite possible he doesn't understand it as you can't teach an old dog new tricks and all that.

Last year, Darik was quite taken with Faith Goldy, who was just banned from Facebook and Instagram. During her mayoral election campaign, he followed her around and was very concerned that she was barred from debates:

He also canvassed with her, and is pictured here with other campaign volunteers outside Queen's Park:

Needless to say, he felt she'd make a top-notch mayor who would do away with pesky bike lanes, stop making pro-lifers feel like second class citizens, and other such lovely things:

Since the end of Goldy's mayoral campaign, he's jumped on Team Bernier with a vengeance. He spent significant time volunteering for Robert Geurts, the PPC candidate in the recent York-Simcoe by-election. Again, he focused on being, above all else, helpful, and insanely law-abiding. He volunteered to carpool PPC supporters to a rally, and was very concerned about someone removing campaign signs. He followed them, but refused to jaywalk:

Most recently, he was concerned about the MAGA hat dude at the PEGIDA rally in Toronto in late March, which he evidently attended. You can read a bit about the rally here, and PEGIDA's recent legal troubles here.

With such a helpful attitude, and concern for others, I suppose it's not a complete surprise that he would want to help children as well. His LinkedIn profile shows he's been a Colony Leader with Scouts Canada, Shining Waters Council, South Lake Simcoe, for over three-and-a-half years:

This past Christmas, he marched in the Newmarket Santa Claus Parade with his Scout group:

Note that this Tweet was liked by Scouts Canada, Battlefields Council, which is a Scouts collective for Hamilton and other towns in Niagara Region, and the City of Newmarket.

Just last week, it appears he took a Cubs group to a woodworking workshop:

Oh yeah, and because he's so helpful, he also organized an event at the Aurora Gun Club on November 7th, 2018, for the older boys, and volunteered to do more of the same:

Wait, what was that last thing? Yeah, he was really, really, really interested in teaching boys to shoot:

James Sears plans new publication/religious organization, encourages harassment, and generally feeds his massive ego

We last saw James Sears and LeRoy St. Germaine of Your Ward News enjoying the media spotlight on January 24th after being found guilty of hate crimes against women and Jews under S319(2) of the criminal code. If you hop over to the Canadian Anti-Hate Network, you can view Justice Richard Blouin’s full judgment and the 17-page appendix of evidence that contributed to the guilty verdict. Spoiler: it’s beyond appalling.

These haters, as haters often do, refused to take “no” for an answer. Sears vowed to keep publishing and distributing. Even though I realized Your Ward News would resurface at some point, I was nonetheless surprised when B’nai Brith Canada broke the news earlier this month that the Winter 2019 edition, which was published before the guilty verdict, was distributed in some east-end Toronto neighbourhoods a mere 36 days after their conviction.
The cover of the Winter 2019 edition features Lisa and Warren Kinsella, with some attempt at sexual humour, which, unfortunately, was expected. Inside, Sears gets off to quite a start by trotting out his now-revoked doctor credentials as an excuse to engage in anti-vax conspiracies, while also bringing in his favourite go-tos, antisemitism and misogyny. One wonders if he strained something packing so much hate and nonsense into one article.

In the "Message from Our Editor In Chief," Sears uses misogynistic humour in an effort to shame and debase an unhappy recipient of the rag. When in doubt, hide behind hate? He also boldly outlines his plans for this year, which include setting up a 3,000 sq ft "Hitler Fan Club" clubhouse and daily livestreams, along with some other goodies. It's unclear how the guilty verdict will impact all of this activity, but we hope it sends it all back to the mothballed attic:

Given Sears' publishing record, his plan to target Muslims and Jews for religious conversion in a new "Christian-Aquarian quarterly" is particularly concerning. ARC has also learned this is part of a religious organization of sorts that Sears has in development. He's still mulling it over, but he thinks it may be a mix of Jordan Peterson's 12 Rules for Life, National Socialism, and his warped view of Christianity. This is all still in the idea stage, and will hopefully remain so.

In case you had any doubt about his feelings towards Jews, he lays it out there for all to see in a piece criticizing Jared Kushner:

I planned to go on reviewing this YWN issue and Sears' whining about being persecuted by the Kinsellas and Richard Warman, but then I wondered what he was saying now that he's been found guilty under S319(2)? How was he squaring this away when he wasn't busy hiding behind a computer screen? As luck would have it, in Paul Fromm's speech in Vancouver outlined here, he mentioned that Sears spoke at a CAFE event in Hamilton (March 3rd). Of that event, Fromm likens Sears to a saint and martyr and adds that "I don't think I'm conveying it [Sears' speech] with quite the impact it had on the crowd."

Well, with such a supposedly powerful video out there, I couldn't help but track it down. I'll admit, it does make an impression, but not the one Paul Fromm imagines. Buckle up my friends, it's going to be a bumpy ride!

Sears gets right into the court case and, not surprisingly, claims he was misquoted and misunderstood. Of his disgusting remark about women being "tri-orfaced chattel" he claims he was trying to "open a discussion."

On the off chance he believes his own BS, it might surprise him to learn there is a whole body of scholarship on women's oppression that doesn't rely on offensive language in order to explore the topic. I'd be happy to lend him some books while he's in jail.

Goudreau (and Dan Dubois) Threatens ARC With Lawsuit Directly; Hilarity Ensues

Sometimes you just have to sit back and laugh at the absurdity of some of the people ARC covers.... well, most of the people ARC covers in fact:

This past Monday ARC reported that both Paul Fromm and Kevin Goudreau were under police investigation. In Fromm's case, it was for promoting the fevered rantings of a mass murderer, 95% of which he agrees with. "No Show" Goudreau was under investigation for posting what amounted to a hit list of people on the political left and of media including yours truly:

BTW, Dane Adam's name is Dane Dainard. Evidently he was at one time
considered to be a bit of a hockey prodigy. Didn't quite work out it would appear.

Goudreau deleted the screen shots above, but not before ARC and a number of other groups independently made copies. When interviewed later, Goudreau claimed that he never posted these threats and suggested instead that he was hacked by "antifa" despite a very, very, very, long history of making similar threats on multiple platforms over the past decade in both writing and in videos:

Uhm, just an observation, but if the posts were made up by anti-fascists and somehow secretly posted to Goudreau's Facebook profile (for at least five hours) while he continued to post other comments that are still on his profile, then why does Dane Dainard seem unhappy that, "they have [his] name"? Was he fooled when he posted a response? And was Goudreau fooled by the post as well when he also responded, or is he going to claim the response is also part of the "hack" of his account? The lie sort of becomes increasingly complicated when one considers the knots one as to tie one's self into in order to perform this act of protective stupidity.

Anyways....

Not long after this post, ARC received the following message from "No Show":

I'm glad that I wasn't drinking tea when I read this as it would have been all over my laptop after bursting into laughter.

Apparently, the brain-trust that is Goudreau and co. (population: so lonely) figure they now have a winning strategy to take down ARC which he further elaborates on in a post to his Facebook profile:

Thinking that Goudreau was onto something, Dan Dubois sent his own equally impotent (legally speaking) demand to remove what he considers defamatory.

You know, posting his own written and spoken words verbatim:

Wait a moment.

Did Dubois post the entirety of his message in the subject line of his email???

Jesus, learn email etiquette dude!

But since this started with "No Show" I think it most appropriate to address him directly.

Kevin, Kevin, Kevin (I can call you Kevin, right?), I know it will be a Pyrrhic victory (look it up) for you, but fellow neo-Nazi Ernst Zundel already ruined your cunning legal plan by successfully having the 'false news' section of the Criminal Code struck down as unconstitutional by the Supreme Court in 1992. You won't believe me or will says it's some sort of Jewish plot, so read it for yourself or have Lionel F Hutz, your "Law Talking Guy" explain to you how it works: R. v. Zundel, [1992] 2 SCR 731, 1992 CanLII 75 (SCC).

You blame us and the Jews/Muslims/immigrants/Freemasons/Raelians for your life being a mess - but if you do some soul searching, you'll find the real answer here:

I would further add that another defence that ARC and all those you claim to be planning to sue (ha!) have is that everything we have written about you is true. I'm going to introduce you to another legal term that you are likely unfamiliar with: discovery. Look that word up too. You might be surprised to learn what information the respondent can legally get from your computer, from Facebook (who still have records of all the profiles they deleted as well as the posts you have deleted), Twitter, and YouTube. And you might further consider that you undermine your own case when you post statements like this which suggests you know that what is being posted on ARC and elsewhere is true:

Oh, yeah, you are certainly playing 3D chess alright.

Still, we at ARC are magnanimous. If you feel there is anything that has been written that has unfairly maligned you, provide a detailed list and send it to us. I'll then consider it at my leisure. That said, you might wish to consider not giving us all more examples of the kind of person you are:

All of what was written equally applies to Dan Dubois as well.

Consider this to be ARC's "response".

Paul Fromm on Christchurch Manifesto: "I would agree with 95% of it" (and other racist ramblings)

NOTE: This is from ARC's newest writer, officially making the ARC Collective actually a collective again.

Those following along this week know that Paul Fromm is being investigated for publishing the Christchurch shooter's manifesto on his CAFE website. ARC has since learned that Fromm also published the manifesto, and the same preamble, on Canada First.

To make matters more...interesting, a video has surfaced of Fromm speaking at an event hosted and filmed by Brian Ruhe in Vancouver on March 16th, entitled "Rewriting Reality: Canada's Political Marxist Elite Loses Its Grip. And NZ Shooting." Ruhe is quite a fan of Fromm's, as discussed here, here, and here.

It's one thing to write a piece on the internet, but it's quite another to speak in front of a very friendly audience. As expected, Fromm has a lot more to say about the Christchurch shooter's manifesto, and other things he considers to be pressing concerns. But first, the manifesto, which, to Fromm, "makes sense:"

He goes on to discuss the theories -- and I use the term loosely -- of population replacement outlined in the manifesto and gives the first part of the document his stamp of approval. However, he believes the shooter did not fully explain the cause of this supposed problem:

And of course, as he said before, he doesn't agree with violence, BUT...

He then moves on to other topics, including Trudeau's supposed fear of Canada's Yellow Vests, who he quite enthusiastically supports:

Perhaps not surprisingly, he denies any knowledge of Yellow Vest members calling for Trudeau's assassination, but then goes on to call the PM a traitor and states that soldiers should go above and beyond a fence or a wall to protect our borders:

On the subject of James Sears and LeRoy St Germaine's recent conviction under S319(2) of the criminal code for promoting hatred against women and Jews, Fromm cannot resist using vile antisemitism himself:

Staying on antisemitism for a moment, in the Q & A, we learn that Fromm distributes British Fascist Arnold Leese's book on Jewish ritual murder, which made quite an impression on at least one person in attendance:

He also takes a swipe at Vancouver police for refusing to "protect" Stefan Molyneux and Lauren Southern's March 15th event, which was cancelled at the last minute. Apparently, diversity policies within the Force are to blame, because, of course they are:

Near the end of his hour-long ramblings, Fromm takes aim at Public Safety Canada for hiring Dr. Barbara Perry, and other accomplished academics, to study right-wing extremism in Canada. In a rant that includes misogyny, homophobia, Islamophobia, and Fromm's egotism, he seems equally incensed that the government is spending money on this project, that Dr. Perry hasn't spoken to him, and that the government hasn't given him the project instead. In the interest of transparency, I've edited together four segments of his rant, presented in chronological order, to cut down on unnecessary blather:

I think he's effectively illustrated why contemporary racists and racist movements in Canada need to be researched, understood, and called out. It's always helpful when guys like Fromm justify our work for us.

"I Disagree With Violence But....": The Justification and Celebration of the Christchurch Mosque Murders By Paul Fromm and Robert Jones

It didn't take long for the likes of Paulie to try and justify the murder of 50 adults and children worshiping at two Christchurch mosques. In a post on his blog, Fromm posted the entirety of the murderer's "manifesto" along with his own forward justifying the attack while couching that justification if claims to oppose violence:

The most relevant section of the forward his here:

Of course long time readers of ARC and those who know the long history of Fromm's support for violent hate groups who do the dirty work that he tacitly promotes know just how hollow Fromm's claim to "disagree with... violence." He has supported groups such as the Aryan Guard/Blood & Honour, Volksfront, the KKK, and a multitude of groups who have engaged in violence and he has rationalized every single instance:

In fact he has his own links to Christchurch, New Zealand where another violent hate group had been founded:

Here Fromm is shaking hands with Kyle Chapman while on a speaking tour of New Zealand in December 2010. Chapman was leader and founder of the neo-Nazi hate group Right Wing Resistance that formed targeting Maori and other Polynesian peoples, other New Zealand peoples of colour, Jews, and Muslims:
Right Wing Resistance also had a number of chapters around the world. Many were quite small including a Canadian chapter whose sole active member was profiled on the blog in late 2015:

Fromm isn't the only prominent disseminator of hate propaganda who has helped to poison the well and creating the conditions that contribute to events such as the Christchurch tragedy. Like others regarded as leaders or (to use a more resent term) influencers in the white nationalist movement internationally, Fromm toes right up to the line where he doesn't overtly advocate for violence, but justifies it when it occurs as the inevitable consequences of an ethnically diverse society and that the remedy is to make society not ethnically diverse.... however that task would be accomplished is left up to the imagination. These dog whistles are heard by those who ARE potentially inclined to commit such reprehensible acts, but those who have helped to foster this noxious environment have their plausible deniability.

A figure on the far right whom I have written about due to his active involvement in protests and groups that are increasingly more extreme, Robert Jones, represents the kind of person people like Paulie are dog whistling too:

We usually find the sort of radicalization Robert Jones is undergoing in teens, however like the children who find their way into hate groups, Jones is someone who seems desperate to belong to something. He has been a member of the Soldiers of Odin, the Proud Boys, and the JDL as an affiliate. He has eventually been booted from all three of the groups mentioned and now he's on his forth, the hate group known as the Northern Guard. He has also embraced overt fascism and worships Donald Trump as a sort of living god (note that he has more than one Facebook account two of which I will be sourcing in the article without bothering to make the distinction):

When the Christchurch murders took place, Jones was immediately drawn to the manifesto which he has spent a great deal of time sharing online:

Jones seems aware that posting links to the manifesto, as well as the video of the murders, violate Facebook's terms of service regarding dissemination of hate propaganda and violence, but he seems determined to share these with a wide audience:

Jones' reaction to the murders has been equally crass:

Duarate seems to be under the impression that Fraser Anning, the Australian senator
who blamed the Muslim community for the the murder of their members for
the audacity of living in New Zealand, is a leftist because he likely didn't
read the article.... because he seems to be an idiot.

The term "retribution attack" used by Jones is telling as he very quickly begins to justify the murders and dehumanize non-white peoples:

Paulie and Kyle McKee: Together Again

When Kyle McKee formed first the Aryan Guard, which morphed into Blood & Honour, Paul Fromm was a regular attendee at a number Calgary events organized by McKee and his fellow boneheads:

Paulie was a very vocal supporter of McKee for years, especially when the latter was facing his numerous criminal charges over the years, such as Paulie's commentary on the outcome of McKee's 2010 trial concerning his "alleged" involvement in the pipe bomb incident in 2009 (McKee was arrested in December at Bill Noble's residence after a month on the run):

But then something happened that caused a rift that lasted several years. We can speculate as to what the reasons were, but we might just let McKee and his supporters speak on that issue themselves:

Hmmmm, I wonder what the issue could have been?

It seemed that the rift wouldn't be healed any time soon, however the relationship between Paulie and McKee (and by extension Calgary B&H) has, as of now, at least achieved a state of détente:

What's Paulie's cut of the admissions fee going to be, Kyle?

That's right. For the first time in three (perhaps four) years, Paulie and McKee are back together again, though perhaps the real draw will be Ms. Chabloz.

Still, this happy reunion between Paulie and McKee is one I simply couldn't let pass without commemorating it in some way. And what better way than to utilize my newly learned video editing skills?

Be sure to turn on the closed captions for the pithy commentary.

I think I did quite well on this one.
