Under its initiative Global Voices: Truthdig Women Reporting, Truthdig publishes articles created by a network of female foreign correspondents from many parts of the world. Some among them have risked their lives in pursuit of the truth.
The correspondents cover issues within their home countries and provide local perspectives on subjects of international scope and impact. In addition, Global Voices features a mentoring program in which selected journalists in the network guide a new generation of reporters in their respective nations.
The initiative was developed in collaboration with the International Women’s Media Foundation.
