From the urban desert of the danger zone in Friedrichshain we send a signal of our solidarity to Yiannis Dimitrakis, Kostas Sakkas and Dimitra Syrianou. On Monday morning, June 24, we erected a burning barricade on Weidenweg (Street near Rigaer and Liebig) together with a fixed banner (see text on picture). We were waiting with stones to welcome the first patrol car but they needed time to mass up strong forces to enter the area of Rigaer Straße, and we disappeared safe.

For June 11 – Solidarity for long term anarchist prisoners
Just outside the city limits of Bristol tucked away in the dark is a poultry farm (Ivy Farm) owned by P&S Mitchell LTD. Located in Whitchurch Lane, Dundry, the birds never see the light of day. Despite the CCTV, the grain silo and broiler house were both spray-painted with the words “Animal Prison”.
A new McDonalds restaurant that is not welcome is being built in Fishponds Road, but maybe the “Burger Off!” posters in local’s front windows isn’t enough. Graffiti was sprayed inside the building site – “McWork Prison”.
Vinney Green, hidden in Emersons Green on the edge of Bristol is a special secure detention unit for 10-17 year old “dangerous kids”. The unit holds up to 24 detainees. A large hole was cut in the perimeter fence and then the next inner security fence was broken through by bending back the bars, causing a second human size gap. Then the prison buildings themselves were sprayed with the words “Child Prison”, “Screws Work Here”.
Solidarity to Brian Vaillancourt who is serving a 9 year sentence in the USA for an arson of a McDonalds. To the imprisoned comrades in Italy who are fighting from inside the cells on hunger strike. Natasha, Beppe and Robert were arrested on Tuesday 21 May 2019 in the context of a repressive operation called “Prometeo” (“Prometheus”) and carried out by the ROS of carabinieri. Some searches have also been carried out. The main accusation is of “attack with terrorist or subversive purposes”, as they were held responsible for sending three bomb packages arrived in June 2017 to the p. m. Rinaudo (prosecutor in many trials against the antagonist movement and the anarchists) and Sparagna (prosecutor in the trial for the “Scripta Manent” operation) and Santi Consolo, at the time director of the DAP (“Department of Penitentiary Administration”) of Rome. They have not been accused of any “associative” crime (such as articles 270 or 270bis, c. p.).

On Wednesday 12th of June, three of our anarchist comrades were arrested in Thessaloniki, during expropriating a guarded money transport that was about to refill an ATM at the university hospital AHEPA. They were caught from cops of the counter-terrorism unit just when they were getting in their car to leave from the spot.
The two comrades are Giannis Dimitrakis and Kostas Sakkas, that had already paid the price of their political choice to stand against the authorities of this world, being targeted and serving time in prison.
The third comrade, Dimitra, is accused for cooperation in the expropriation.
There have been searches in their houses and many personal thing have been taken. Media create a wave of terror. Also, in the morning of 13th of June, the comrades were took to the prosecutor. Since now, there are no more details about this case.

Grecia: L’anarchico Giannis Michailidis è evaso dal carcere di Tyrintha
The anarchist prisoner Giannis Michailidis [sometimes the name is reported as Yannis and the surname as Mihailidis] escaped a few days ago from the so-called rural prison of Tyrintha (Tiryns), in Peloponnese. He was arrested on 1 February 2013 following the double robbery that took place in Velventos [1] (Kozani region, in Greece), along with the anarchists Nikos Romanos, Dimitris Politis and Andreas-Dimitris Bourzoukos (for the same facts on 30 April 2013 were also arrested the fugitives anarchists Argyris Dalios, Fivos Harisis, Giannis Naxakis and Grigoris Sarafoudis — not all of them were convicted of robberies). The comrade, before the escape, was serving a sentence of 16 years and 4 months, imposed with the sentence that followed the trial regarding the facts of Velventos. Furthermore, in 2015 he was sentenced to 15 years for charges linked to an attack on the police on May 18, 2011, in Pefki, during a police check (two policemen were wounded and the anarchist Theofilos Mavropoulos was arrested, wounded as well). Giannis is also known as “the archer of Syntagma” since, in February 2011, in the clashes during a general strike, he was arrested for hitting the riot police that protected the Greek parliament in Syntagma Square (Athens) with a bow and arrow.
The police, according to the press, are already investigating the incident.
