Hello! My name is Ben Lorber and I’m a writer, organizer, musician and radical Jew. Here mostly to smash fascism, raise the sparks, sing and bring Moshiach. I make weird folksy music as Narrow Bridge- check out my Bandcamp! I live with my lovely partner and two cuddly cats in Chicago, Illinois.
This blog is where I put my political diatribes, philosophical musings, spiritual ponderings, and reflections on Jewish identity, history and more. It also houses various activist and journalist work I did between 2011 and 2015, as well as occasional guest posts from comrades and chaverim.
I really hope you enjoy my thoughts on this strange and beautiful world of ours 🙂

Hello Mr. Lorber. My name is Marcello Di Cintio and I am going to be the writer-in-residence at the Palestine Writing Workshop this June. I am very interested in a story you wrote in Mondoweiss about the prisoners’ library in Nablus. I have a few questions. If you have the time, please drop me a line. My email is harmattan(at)telus(dot)net.
Thanks,
Marcello

I really liked that Bundist poster. The Jewish homeland is Montréal, Paris, NYC, Buenos Aires and many other places. Wherever Jews live.
One of the most extreme alt-right types who “admired” Jews (in Israel) in a twisted way was the neofascist terrorist Anders Behring Breivik…
