The Damned Things: “Something Good”

Heavy metal super group The Damned Things released an animated music video for their track "Something Good", see below. The video was directed by Kris Baldwin. The track is off of the band's latest effort, High Crimes .

The Interrupters/Buster Shuffle(UK)

Ska punk band The Interrupters is heading to the UK in the new yeah to play a few shows with Buster Shuffle. The band released Fight The Good Fight in 2018. See below to view the tour dates.

Tegan and Sara complete new album

Tegan And Sara has finished recording their new album. They stated "Our new record is off to get mastered by the incredible @emilylazarlodge today + tomorrow. THAT MEANS IN TWO DAYS THE RECORD WILL BE OFFICIALLY DONE! "

No title or release date has been announced yet. The duo released Love You to Death in 2016.

Omnigone to record in July

Omnigone is the new projected fronted by Adam Davis of Link 80 and Gnarboots. He recently stated that the project will be recording July 28. The group includes various musicians contributing including members of Vantana Row, We are the Union, Link 80, and others. The band has recorded at least 13 tracks so far, including a few covers. We'll keep you updated.

Fallow Land: “The Hope”

Michigan post-rock band Fallow Land released a new track over at BrooklynVegan. The track is called "The Hope" and it will be released on their debut album titled Slow Down. Slow Down will be out on July 26th through Spartan Records. The band will also touring the north east US later this summer, see below to check out the track and dates.

Prophets of Rage release new track

Prophets Of Rage, the band that includes Chuck D of Public Enemy, B-Real of Cypress Hill and Tom Morello have released a new single. It's called "Made With Hate" and as of now, appears to be a stand alone single. Check it out below.

American Football (Asia)

Emo legends American Football is heading to Asia this summer. They will be playing dates in Japan, China, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia. The run of dates in China will feature chinese emo band Chinese Football. See below to check out the tour dates. American Football will be touring to support their third Self-titled album.

Also, this year is the 40th Anniversary of London Calling, without question, one of the most important albums in punk (and music) history. We're going to be celebrating that album in the Fall, but be sure to listen to it, like, right now… or after you listen to the documentary!
