Let me put this as clearly as I know how: we’re a people seeking the fastest and most comfortable ride as we speed towards the cliff’s edge.

To you — if you’re out there somewhere, if you can hear me — I am so very, very sorry. Not just for the loss of your lives, but for the dishonorable ends for which you died.

We can achieve both sustainability and economic justice by basing the unit of exchange on the only thing that really matters — an hour of labor.
