MARTIN DAY

Author and Scriptwriter

I have been a freelance writer for over 25 years. I am the author of twelve novels and audiobooks, two audio plays for Big Finish, and eight non-fiction books, mostly concerning television in general and Doctor Who in particular. I have also written for BBC1's Doctors, Channel Five's Family Affairs and RTÉ's Fair City, and was lead writer on CBBC's Crisis Control.

I've also written comic strips, short stories and journalism. I have recently completed an MA in Creative Writing, concentrating on my first truly original novel. I live in Somerset, and am married to a GP.

My TV/film agent is Dominic Lord at JFL Agency. Click on Contact Me for more details.

I am the Wessex regional rep of the Writers' Guild of Great Britain, and also a member of BAFTA and the Royal Television Society. I lecture in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University.
