i drove around okc late last night listening to portraits and i truly can’t believe it’s out on friday. i’m so fucking nervous, but i think that’s natural. thinking about you all being able to live with the music in the same way that i have, makes me feel accomplished.
a lot of people told me that i was done for in music, but i just kept on writing and i stayed focused. and without your support through it all, through messages of encouragement, and streaming the songs, i wouldn’t be here. this album is just as much yours as it is mine.
