Interlibrary Loan, Request It!

Our Information Delivery Services, (IDS) offers Request It! through our Interlibrary Loan unit to provide access to research information whether owned by us or other libraries. Delivery service is available for Faculty, PhD Candidates and Distance Education Students.

• all NMSU current and emeritus faculty, regular and retired staff, and currently enrolled students.

• First time users are required to create an account with their my.nmsu.edu username and password.
• Non-NMSU users should contact IDS staff for details on service options.
• Users will be notified of the status of their requests and will be provided additional instructions by e-mail.
• Turnaround time varies based on format type, location of the item, and peak periods in the academic year.
• Costs and copyright restrictions may be associated with some requests.

Request It! Delivery and Return Service - For delivery/return of library materials.

• Faculty and PhD Candidates:   For office delivery of materials, contact IDS staff. For item pick-up service from on-campus offices, use our Request It! Return Service Form.
• Distance Education Students/Faculty:  For desktop or home delivery of materials, contact IDS staff to register.

Library Lending - For libraries that want to lend our material to their patrons.
