I’m so grateful did this interview with Korey, Antron, Yusef, Kevin, and Raymond. It’s important we remember not just the boys whose lives were stolen, but to recognize them as men and see how this injustice still lives with them. Dismantle the system.

Antron: I'm damaged. I know I need help, but it's too late now. IDK if I've seen anything so heartbreaking as that honest admission. This is what happens to so many and every. single. day.

Korey Wise hasn’t been a man of many words.. and that’s completely fine with me because his presence says a million. Every time I see him so many things go through my head but what sticks most is that this man is a walking miracle

No one else could have done this interview. She talked with 14 cast members and the Exonerated 5 back to back in the same day. She made everyone feel seen and heard. And she guided us through the moment when the men shared in their own way. Grateful.

I pray that Antron McCray feels and knows consistent joy and healing one day soon. Lord.

Me too. But we are watching over him. A lot of us are. In many different ways. He’s moving forward on his own path. taking his own steps. Tonight was one of them.

Watching Antron McCray bring an entire room to tears. This man considers himself “broken”. Not merely shattered, but forever unfixable. Shame on the people who thought it was acceptable to do this to a human being. 😢

Antron McCray is so brave to be so honest about his anger as it also shows vulnerability. The trauma is something unimaginable, it is palpable. I hope he knows that he is inspiring so many Black and Brown men to be able to express similar trauma. .

Whats so harrowing about story is the fact that its one in hundreds of thousands. So many of our brothers (and sisters) have been locked up for crimes they did not commit. Kalief. Lives are ruined. Families torn apart. This is too much man.

To see how broken these men are just tears me apart. No amount of money, no apology, no amount of therapy will ever give back what they lost. They will never forget what they endured.. and thats what hurts the most 😣💔 Every word is painful
