    New report from shows people are waiting 10 years for social housing. Investing in social housing would create jobs, give the economy much-needed stimulus, and most importantly help solve homelessness.

    Gr8 working with once again on a fantastic project. Women and girls with disability have so much to say!

    Today ran the first of a series of workshops we are doing about our virtual centre website for women and girls with disability. We got some great feedback from a fantastic team and can’t wait to hear more from other groups. Thanks for making it happen!

    UN inspectors will have "unfettered access" to prisons, youth detention, immigration detention, psychiatric hospitals, police stations and social care environments such as aged care and disability homes. About time!

    We know will have a lot to say about this, but that doesn't mean our leaders have to wait for those results to act. The information coming out about violations in Queensland's watch houses needs to be addressed urgently.

    Our justice systems have to be accessible and accommodating to people with disability, or they give no justice at all. We expect the upcoming Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of people with disability to look closely at our justice system.
