    My male surgeons did their jobs wonderfully, but my oncologist is the one who helps me solve whatever comes up as a woman. We can talk. I’m so grateful for her.

    Active shooter drills accomplish nothing but further normalizing gun violence and terrorizing children and adults alike. We all know what the cure is. Those in power, and those who voted them to power, don’t want it.

    In a perverse and strange irony so indicative of our times, this “active threat” citizens’ training event had been scheduled for today in . It has been canceled, apparently in the aftermath of yesterday’s mass shooting here.

    All persons can help prevent and prepare for an active threat situation. VBPD will be hosting an Active Threat Citizens Defense workshop on June 1st. More info @

    If I've ever seen a guy who has the stare of a devil, it's this guy ... His eyes are extremely haunting and uncomfortable. I cringed watching the video and not just from the bullshit he was spouting

    Journalism students, this is an excellent example of a brilliant doorstep interview. The journalist gleans the salient information expertly and even surprises the preacher when she quotes the Bible at him.

    I spent so much time in communities that worship this man. His hold on the vulnerable is sickening. But check out the professionalism and steadiness of , who refuses to back down and gets straight to the point. Incredible journalism here.
