The Best Affiliate Programs in Canada, UK, and Australia

Affiliate programs serve as intermediaries between the brand (also called merchant) that sells the product and the publisher (also called affiliate) that markets them. Affiliate programs collate several brands and allow publishers to search through the offers and select their choices.

Thanks to technological development, these publishers use digital marketing methods, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and e-mail marketing.

They also make use of brand or product reviews. There is an agreement for compensation between the merchant and the affiliate. Payment may be revenue sharing or cost per action (CPA); there is also pay per sale (PPS), cost per mile (CPM) and cost per click (CPC). Cost per mile and cost per click are the least popular of all.

You can locate affiliate programs in the directories or on your chosen website – brands that run affiliate programs include the links on their site or in the ‘About the company’ section. Where the website does not have an affiliate link, you may contact them for inquiries.

Being human is good business.

Your customers are the reason your company exists. Recognize their value.

Better customer service

Companies may balk at getting to know customers and building relationships. The mere word “relationship” conjures up thoughts of effort, time, and resources. As counter-intuitive as it may seem, a support model that centers on building relationships may be the most cost-effective and scalable solution.

Being human works

In an era when companies see online support as a way to shield themselves from “costly” interactions with their customers, it’s time to consider an entirely different approach: building human-centric customer service through great people and clever technology.

My Story

I started working on the front lines in technical support after receiving my undergraduate degree in mathematics and computer science. I thought I would be a software engineer but instead found my true-calling in customer service.

I built the customer service organizations from the ground up at TripItBankSimpleBasisGetaround and Pivotal Software. Most recently, I’ve been consutling for several startups on service operational excellence including School Loop, Top 10 Online Casinos, TalkdeskLumoBodyTech and Moxxly.
