WA election coverage on ABC television, radio, online and mobile

After months of electioneering, WA voters are set to select who they want to lead the state for the next four years and there's no reason you should miss out on following all the results, because ABC has you covered across all platforms.

WA heads to the polls on Saturday, March 11, and here's what ABC has planned, and when and where to get it:

Online and mobile

Full election coverage throughout the campaign and on election night will be available on the ABC News WA election site, where you can find information on candidates, electorates, key seats and the best analysis and information, along with Antony Green's Election Guide as well as the prediction calculator.

On election night you will also be able to follow the live results on mobile and get updates on developments as they happen on the ABC News website.

Television

Extensive coverage of the election, the leaders, the parties and their policies in the lead-up to election day will be followed by live coverage after polls close.

Live from the ABC Election Centre in Perth from 6:00pm AWST on ABC, host James McHale and ABC News' WA political correspondent Jessica Strutt will be joined by Federal Justice Minister and Stirling MP Michael Keenan, representing the Liberal Party, and Labor's consumer affairs and assistant resources spokesman Tim Hammond.

ABC election analyst Antony Green will be calling the numbers as they come in, and providing full analysis across the night. ABC News journalist Rebecca Carmody will be interviewing the party powerbrokers.

ABC News 24 will have updates throughout the day as WA voters cast their ballots and simulcast the election night coverage from 9:00pm AEDT.

The broadcast can also be streamed live online.

The morning after the election, Weekend Breakfast with Miriam Corowa and Andrew Geoghegan, will deliver a wrap of the election results and the latest news.

On Insiders, Barrie Cassidy and the panel will provide analysis and context for what the election result means for WA, as well as a wrap of the week in national politics.

Radio

ABC Radio Perth and all ABC WA regional stations will broadcast live coverage of election results that will be streamed live on the ABC Radio app, on ABC Perth and on Digital Radio.

ABC Radio Perth presenters Geoff Hutchison and Belinda Varischetti will host the election night coverage from ABC studios in front of a live audience.

Joining them will be "Poll Bludger" William Bowe who will make sense of the numbers, with guest analysts Ken Travers and Matt Keogh MP from the ALP and senators Linda Reynolds and Dean Smith from the Liberal Party.

To watch the action unfold live from ABC studios, the public need to register to be part of the audience.

On ABC Radio, AM will broadcast from WA on the Thursday and Friday before election day. Host Sabra Lane will interview Premier Colin Barnett and Opposition Leader Mark McGowan.

There will also be a special AM Sunday morning edition at 8:00am on ABC Radio, RN and regional radio.
