Recently-retired Rabbitohs player Greg Inglis bumped into reality TV star Suzi Taylor (inset) while out with his girlfriend Alyse Caccamo on May 16, then vanished for days while he camped out at her Brisbane mansion. Inglis was said to have hung around drinking beer and falling in and out of consciousness, with Taylor not always there. He had to be convinced to have a shower and put on fresh clothes and appeared to want to 'escape from the world for a few days'. Inglis refused to leave the house until his sister and her partner drove six hours to drag him away. He has since checked into rehab.

A young Miss Universe Australia finalist has revealed how she was relentlessly body-shamed by cruel trolls online. Just five days before the tragedy, Noelia Lopez called husband Jose Antonio Reyes her 'love' and described their relationship as one 'where you do not ask for anything but are given everything' (left). An Australian photographer based in New Zealand has had one of her stunning engagement photos recognised in an international competition. 'The light hit both the dogs and the couple in such a perfect way, everything just came together,' Ms Howarth told FEMAIL of her photo (pictured). Stunning images show members of the Maori Battalion's 'C company' at a training camp in Helwan, Egypt as they presented the Ruamoko haka during a ceremonial parade in June 1941.  The dance was their way of welcoming King George II, his wife the Queen, his cousin Prince Peter, and Major General Freyberg, who arrived in Egypt months after the battalion had escaped an invasion in Crete. It illustrates a time when Maori soldiers had only recently been taken on to the New Zealand army as part of the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force.

This is terrifying moment a road rage biker smashes a car windscreen with a gun in peak hour traffic. The rider was caught on dashcam getting off his bike and approaching a driver in Blacktown, western Sydney, on Thursday May 16 at about 5.30pm.  Suddenly, he pulls a gun from his pants and points the firearm through the window, leaving the petrified driver fearing for his life.

A woman seeking an ice cream cone for her son at a North Carolina Burger King drive-thru got a window seat to a brawl instead. Rebecca Ramsey, of Charlotte, North Carolina, posted a video of the surpising incident which she said occurred on May 26 at a local Burger King, on her Facebook page, where it promptly went viral. The video shows two men — believed to be Burger King employees — arguing and grappling with each other, slamming against the drive-thru window multiple times and even throwing things at each other. Two female employees can be seen attempting to separate the men, while other drive-thru workers look on or wade into the fray.

A huge crowds gathered together for a night prayer on the streets of Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan for Laylat al-Qadr. The event commemorates the point during Ramadan when the first revelation of the Holy Quran was made to the Prophet Muhammad, which is considered the most important event in the history of Islam.

San Francisco is about to get a pop-up bar which will allow patrons to drink with  rodents.   San Francisco Dungeon - a popular venue known for recreating historic events with sets and special events -  is opening the temporary establishment on June 13.
