    I am at the London Bridge inquests opening day as pen portraits of the 8 victims from their families are heard. Like hearing 8 funeral eulogies in one day, immensely brave and lyrical, loving families graciously, sometimes tearfully, sitting through it all.

    An immigration “encounter” is only lawful if based on intelligence, yet by far the biggest nationality group stopped are the British. Why is that? Dud “intelligence” or is it racial profiling? Immigration officials don’t record ethnicity so we can’t tell.
