History Walk
The Gay Hub That Is Newtown

This year’s annual history walk hosted by the Sisters accompanied by the renowned historian Robert French took the gathered faithful on a walking tour of one of Sydney's 'Gay Hubs', Newtown. In the words of Robert French...

"Another day, another history walk but it is that time of year. We had 55 participants on today's 30th Annual Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence History Walk down King Street, Newtown. The Sisters obliged us all by exorcising homophobia from the Anglican Moore Theological College near Sydney University.
A fun day.
