I was on active duty during the Cold War, got out in 1984. Joined National Guard after 911. Did a tour in Iraq, 2004-2005, saw the waste and complete worthlessness of that war. I was a contractor in Afghanistan in 2011 and back in Iraq working for Dept of State through October 2012. Long story, but no jobs at home, had to do something. Afghanistan was a complete joke in a very bad way. We will not win there, it is a waste of lives and we need to get out now. We lost in Iraq, too.
