Joomla Install Guide

1. Sign up for a account at StatCounter to get your code.
   These instructions will be repeated after you've created an account and added your first project.

2. Copy the StatCounter code.
3. Log into your Joomla website.
4. Click the Extensions Menu > Templates > Templates
5. Click your template name
6. Scroll down and in the left menu click index,php
7. In the right box paste your StatCounter code near the end just before </body></html>
8. Click the save button in the upper left corner
   Your StatCounter code should now be tracking your Joomla site.
   
   Please note that if you're using Modules to install Statcounter then before adding the code you will want to change the editor to "None" under Global Configuration.
