Billy Joe Saunders has found himself in hot water once more after he allowed his 10-year-old son Steve to drive his £165,00 Ferrari around a car park.

The boxer filmed his son driving the car and uploaded the footage onto his Instagram story as he took some time out before the fight.

Although driving at such a young age on private land is not illegal, that video provoked a strong reaction last time round.

@boxinghistorytoday wrote on Instagram: 'Mate, what will it take for you to learn to be a sensible adult? Forget about having a child behind the wheel of 500+horse power suv, you post it on the internet where it's going to without a doubt be reported. Have fun dealing with Child Endangerment and reckless driving charges.'

@stevenwunda added: 'What are u doing bro posting stuff like this. Do you not learn.....'

The middleweight has courted controversy throughout his career. He was fined £100,000 and severely reprimanded by the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) after he was filmed asking a woman to perform a sex act in exchange for class A drugs last September.

Saunders will return to action on Saturday against Shefat Isufi at the Lamex Stadium

In another video, he was seen asking Lyndsey Fox, 37, to perform a sex act in exchange for drugs as well as telling her to punch a member of the public. Saunders later apologised and admitted he was 'totally in the wrong'.

On Saturday Saunders will take on Isufi at Stevenage's Lamex Stadium for the vacant WBO super middleweight title.

Saunders has yet to lose in his professional boxing career - he has secured 27 victories, with 13 of those coming by knockout.

Saunders previously allowed his son to drive his Range Rover through a field before new post

In his most recent fight, Saunders saw off Charles Adamu at the Manchester Arena.

Saunders won the fight after Amadu failed to come out from his corner after round four.

That fight was Saunders' first since returning to action having previously failed a drugs test.
