Children don’t belong in prison. In Australia, children as young as 10 can be arrested, brought before a judge and sent to prison. It’s time to Raise the Age. Better preventative engagement with communities & family is paramount.

The cost of having “the lowest debt” among developed nations? Millions unemployed and underemployed. You and your family suffering. What a terrible decision by a government that will only care the minimum needed to keep power.

Sometimes things drive me crazy, like when a virus is being spread in workplaces by casual workers who don't have paid leave and the Federal Government does nothing about it. People are dying, jobs are being lost, infections are spreading. It's time for action!

"This is a commentary on insecure work" - Dan Andrews. You're damn right it is. The normalisation of insecure work needs to end. Workers need and deserve security.

Insecure work is a health problem. People are choosing to go to work for fear of losing job or not having enough money to pay bills. 80% of all transmissions are at work. 1 in 3 workers are in insecure jobs & now it is literally killing older Australians. This needs to change

There's 1 job for every 13 people who are looking. It's nearly impossible to find a job in some parts of the country. People need support, not cuts.

We thank everyone who has shared their first-hand experience of trying to survive on $40 per day. The Government has again acknowledged today it is nowhere near enough to get by, but it has failed to deliver an adequate, permanent increase we need.
