Anthony Edwards has written an emotional essay in which he alleges that writer-producer Gary Goddard molested him and raped his friend in a pattern of abuse that "went on for years." Edwards' piece, published Friday on Medium and titled "Yes Mom, There is Something Wrong," is particularly troubling considering his age at the time.The actor, now 55 years old and best known for his Emmy-nominated work on E.R.,recalls meeting Goddard when he was 12."He quickly became a dominant force in my life," Edwards writes."He taught me about the value of acting, respect for friendship and the importance of studying."Calling Goddard — known for film work like 1987's Masters of the Universe and for a long list of credits designing and producing major theme park attractions including Jurassic Park: The Ride, Terminator 2/3D: Battle Across Time, Star Trek: The Experience, Jaws and King Kong on the Loose — a "sick father figure," Edwards writes that he and his five friends grew close to the man during what was a pivotal time in his life."Pedophiles prey on the weak.My father, who suffered from undiagnosed PTSD from WWII, was not emotionally available.Everyone has the need to bond, and I was no exception.My vulnerability was exploited.I was molested by Goddard, my best friend was raped by him — and this went on for years.The group of us, the gang, stayed quiet," he writes after opening the essay by revealing that his mother approached him when he was 14 to ask about the rumors she'd heard about Goddard, that he was a pedophile.However, he "denied it through tears of complete panic," and "to face that truth was not an option as my sense of self was completely enmeshed in my gang of five friends who were all led by this sick father figure." He does not name the friends, but he does write that he confronted Goddard 22 years ago."I happened to run into Gary Goddard at an airport," he recalls."I was able to express my outrage at what he had done.He swore to his remorse and said that he had gotten help.I felt a temporary sense of relief.I say temporary because when Goddard appeared in the press four years ago for alleged sexual abuse, my rage resurfaced." It is not the first time Goddard has faced these types of accusations.He was named in a teen sex abuse lawsuit in 2014 by Michael Egan, whose case later collapsed under his own credibility issues, and his lawyers apologized for making false claims against some of the defendants.Egan later went to jail for fraud.Seeing Goddard's name in the press triggered Edwards, he writes, leading him to seek outside help."At 51 years old, I was directed by a group of loving friends to a therapist who specializes in this kind of abuse.By processing my anger in a safe place with a professional, I was finally able to have the conversation that I wish I could have had with my mom when I was 14," he explains.As a result of that process, he has gained perspective on the abuse he suffered, but also how widespread his experience is among men.

E.R. veteran Anthony Edwards is among three actors who have alleged that Gary Goddard molested them as children. Now the former producer has taken a leave of absence from the design firm he founded in 2002, the Goddard Group.
Goddard Group chief operating officer Barry Kemper announced Goddard’s leave of absence effective immediately Monday night in a press statement.
The move comes more than two weeks after Edwards came forward with claims that the filmmaker-turned-entertainment theme park designer repeatedly abused him when he was a child. Two more actors, Bret Douglas Nighman and Mark Driscoll, have also shared their accounts of being abused by Goddard.

Top Hollywood producer Gary Goddard has been accused of rape by at least eight former child actors.
Following “ER” alum Anthony Edwards’ allegation that Goddard sexually assaulted him when he was just 12 years old, seven more from his Santa Barbara theater group are accusing their one-time mentor of violently raping them in the 1970’s.
Latimes.com reports: They describe Goddard’s advances as ranging from straying hands on thighs during lulls in a production or fondling in a darkened Disneyland ride, to repeated incidents of sexual abuse during a troupe’s overnight stays in a statewide tour. In addition, Edwards and another former theater student said in interviews that a classmate who has since died, Scott Drnavich, told them that he was sexually assaulted by Goddard as a boy.
Goddard, 65, has led an eclectic and lucrative career directing, producing and writing in Hollywood and on Broadway, and as a designer of theme parks and other attractions. He declined to be interviewed. His publicist, Sam Singer, disputed the allegations, which he said were “full of innuendo and hearsay.”
“If it were possible to prove a negative, Mr. Goddard would debate these 40-year-old allegations,” Singer said, but instead would only “categorically deny” their veracity.
Goddard’s accusers have gone on to achieve success in Hollywood and other industries, but they say they have grappled with the psychological aftershocks of his alleged abuse. Their personal sagas have involved therapy, tearful revelations to others and dramatic confrontations with the man they once revered.
“This is a man who’s attracted to little boys, and attracted in the sickest way,” said Edwards, an Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning actor known for roles in “Top Gun” and “ER.” “This is not love, this is not friendship what he was doing. It is a horror because it is manipulating young hearts and minds.”
‘The Lost Boys’
For decades, the seaside hamlet about 100 miles north of Los Angeles was a surprisingly busy incubator for Hollywood talent. Goddard, who graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 1970, acted in and directed student productions with budding stars such as Timothy Bottoms, who along with his three brothers went on to film and television fame.
Goddard, a Disney geek whose mother made sandwiches at the local deli, was on an early similar track to success. He majored in theater, dance and film at the California Institute of the Arts before landing a role at Walt Disney Imagineering, the company’s vaunted theme park design group, in 1976.
He continued to stay involved in Santa Barbara, directing youth productions including “Oliver!” and “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
To many boys, Goddard was as close as any family member. “He was kind of magical and exciting,” said Bret Nighman, a former actor who first met Goddard when he was 13. Edwards described Goddard as a “mentor, teacher and friend,” and a “dominant force” in his life. Former actor Mark Driscoll said that for a period of time the shaggy red-haired auteur became “the most important person in my life.”
But there was a downside to his attention, several of his former proteges said, causing them to avoid being last in the car with Goddard, or closest to his bed on an overnight trip.
Driscoll said that Goddard repeatedly sexually abused him over the course of three years, though he declined to provide details. “I knew I would have to experience things I didn’t want to” whenever the mentor visited, he said. Four Santa Barbara classmates told The Times that Driscoll informed them of the sexual abuse during a get-together two decades ago.
Nighman said that Goddard attempted to molest him on four occasions by the time he was 16, culminating in an incident in 1977 at the mentor’s home in which he allegedly rubbed Nighman’s crotch and forced the boy to reciprocate.
Nighman’s childhood friend Mark Daly, now an attorney in Denver, said that Nighman told him about one of the alleged occurrences of abuse, in which Goddard attempted to fondle him during a touring production of “Peter Pan.”
Linus Huffman, who acted in Goddard’s “Oliver!” at the age of 13, alleged that Goddard also attempted to use mentoring during the production as an overture to touch him.

Anthony Charles Edwards (born July 19, 1962) is an American actor and director. He has appeared in various movies and television shows, including Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Top Gun, Zodiac, Miracle Mile, Revenge of the Nerds, Planes, Northern Exposure, and ER.
Early life
Edwards was born in Santa Barbara, California, the son of Erika Kem (née Weber), an artist/landscape painter, and Peter Edwards, an architect. He has two older sisters, Heidi and Ann-Marie, and two older brothers, Peter and Jeffrey. Edwards was encouraged by his parents to attend college before pursuing his interest in acting. He received a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in England and studied theatre at University of Southern California but by the age of nineteen was being offered enough acting work to enable him to leave college.
Career
Edwards's early work includes a co-starring role in the TV series It Takes Two with Richard Crenna and Patty Duke Astin as his parents and Helen Hunt as his sister. He made a cameo in the hit 1982 film Fast Times at Ridgemont High as "Stoner Bud." In 1984, He starred in the hit comedy film Revenge of the Nerds playing the main role of Gilbert Lowe, a sensitive and well meaning nerd, Lewis' (played by Robert Carradine) best friend and would later be president of the tri-lambs. He reprised the role of Gilbert for a few brief scenes in the sequel Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise (1987), with his character unable to join the rest of the nerds because of a broken leg.

TMZ is a celebrity news website that debuted on November 8, 2005. It was a collaboration between AOL and Telepictures Productions, a division of Warner Bros., until Time Warner divested AOL in 2009. The name TMZ stands for thirty-mile zone, the historic "studio zone" within a 30-mile (50 km) radius centered at the intersection of West Beverly Boulevard and North La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.
TMZ's managing editor is Harvey Levin, a lawyer-turned-journalist who was previously a legal expert for the Los Angeles television station KCBS-TV. Seven months prior to the official launch of TMZ, America Online (AOL) had hinted that it was planning to launch a Hollywood and entertainment-centric news site that would be produced in conjunction with Telepictures Productions and had shown interest in launching a website featuring a focus mainly on celebrities. At the time of the launch, AOL confirmed that the site would primarily feature and consist of Hollywood gossip, including interviews, photos and video footage of celebrities and information pertaining to industry news on movies, television shows, etc. The site was described as "an effort to further feed the current American obsession with celebrities". Mike Shields of MediaWeek.com wrote, "the site also boasts of an expansive collection of archived star photos and videos", allowing fans to "trace changing hairlines and waistlines of their favorites performers over the years".

Anthony Edwards has written an emotional essay in which he alleges that writer-producer Gary Goddard molested him and raped his friend in a pattern of abuse that "went on for years." Edwards' piece, published Friday on Medium and titled "Yes Mom, There is Something Wrong," is particularly troubling considering his age at the time.The actor, now 55 years old and best known for his Emmy-nominated work on E.R.,recalls meeting Goddard when he was 12."He quickly became a dominant force in my life," Edwards writes."He taught me about the value of acting, respect for friendship and the importance of studying."Calling Goddard — known for film work like 1987's Masters of the Universe and for a long list of credits designing and producing major theme park attractions including Jurassic Park: The Ride, Terminator 2/3D: Battle Across Time, Star Trek: The Experience, Jaws and King Kong on the Loose — a "sick father figure," Edwards writes that he and his five friends grew close to the man during what was a pivotal time in his life."Pedophiles prey on the weak.My father, who suffered from undiagnosed PTSD from WWII, was not emotionally available.Everyone has the need to bond, and I was no exception.My vulnerability was exploited.I was molested by Goddard, my best friend was raped by him — and this went on for years.The group of us, the gang, stayed quiet," he writes after opening the essay by revealing that his mother approached him when he was 14 to ask about the rumors she'd heard about Goddard, that he was a pedophile.However, he "denied it through tears of complete panic," and "to face that truth was not an option as my sense of self was completely enmeshed in my gang of five friends who were all led by this sick father figure." He does not name the friends, but he does write that he confronted Goddard 22 years ago."I happened to run into Gary Goddard at an airport," he recalls."I was able to express my outrage at what he had done.He swore to his remorse and said that he had gotten help.I felt a temporary sense of relief.I say temporary because when Goddard appeared in the press four years ago for alleged sexual abuse, my rage resurfaced." It is not the first time Goddard has faced these types of accusations.He was named in a teen sex abuse lawsuit in 2014 by Michael Egan, whose case later collapsed under his own credibility issues, and his lawyers apologized for making false claims against some of the defendants.Egan later went to jail for fraud.Seeing Goddard's name in the press triggered Edwards, he writes, leading him to seek outside help."At 51 years old, I was directed by a group of loving friends to a therapist who specializes in this kind of abuse.By processing my anger in a safe place with a professional, I was finally able to have the conversation that I wish I could have had with my mom when I was 14," he explains.As a result of that process, he has gained perspective on the abuse he suffered, but also how widespread his experience is among men. -

Top Hollywood producer Gary Goddard has been accused of rape by at least eight former child actors. Following “ER” alum Anthony Edwards’ allegation that Goddard sexually assaulted him when he was just 12 years old, seven more from his Santa Barbara theater group are accusing their one-time mentor of violently raping them in the 1970’s. Latimes.com reports: They describe Goddard’s advances as ranging from straying hands on thighs during lulls in a production or fondling in a darkened Disneyland ride, to repeated incidents of sexual abuse during a troupe’s overnight stays in a statewide tour. In addition, Edwards and another former theater student said in interviews that a classmate who has since died, Scott Drnavich, told them that he was sexually assaulted by Goddard as a boy. Goddard, 65, has led an eclectic and lucrative career directing, producing and writing in Hollywood and on Broadway, and as a designer of theme parks and other attractions. He declined to be interviewed. His publicist, Sam Singer, disputed the allegations, which he said were “full of innuendo and hearsay.” “If it were possible to prove a negative, Mr. Goddard would debate these 40-year-old allegations,” Singer said, but instead would only “categorically deny” their veracity. Goddard’s accusers have gone on to achieve success in Hollywood and other industries, but they say they have grappled with the psychological aftershocks of his alleged abuse. Their personal sagas have involved therapy, tearful revelations to others and dramatic confrontations with the man they once revered. “This is a man who’s attracted to little boys, and attracted in the sickest way,” said Edwards, an Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning actor known for roles in “Top Gun” and “ER.” “This is not love, this is not friendship what he was doing. It is a horror because it is manipulating young hearts and minds.” ‘The Lost Boys’ For decades, the seaside hamlet about 100 miles north of Los Angeles was a surprisingly busy incubator for Hollywood talent. Goddard, who graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 1970, acted in and directed student productions with budding stars such as Timothy Bottoms, who along with his three brothers went on to film and television fame. Goddard, a Disney geek whose mother made sandwiches at the local deli, was on an early similar track to success. He majored in theater, dance and film at the California Institute of the Arts before landing a role at Walt Disney Imagineering, the company’s vaunted theme park design group, in 1976. He continued to stay involved in Santa Barbara, directing youth productions including “Oliver!” and “Jesus Christ Superstar.” To many boys, Goddard was as close as any family member. “He was kind of magical and exciting,” said Bret Nighman, a former actor who first met Goddard when he was 13. Edwards described Goddard as a “mentor, teacher and friend,” and a “dominant force” in his life. Former actor Mark Driscoll said that for a period of time the shaggy red-haired auteur became “the most important person in my life.” But there was a downside to his attention, several of his former proteges said, causing them to avoid being last in the car with Goddard, or closest to his bed on an overnight trip. Driscoll said that Goddard repeatedly sexually abused him over the course of three years, though he declined to provide details. “I knew I would have to experience things I didn’t want to” whenever the mentor visited, he said. Four Santa Barbara classmates told The Times that Driscoll informed them of the sexual abuse during a get-together two decades ago. Nighman said that Goddard attempted to molest him on four occasions by the time he was 16, culminating in an incident in 1977 at the mentor’s home in which he allegedly rubbed Nighman’s crotch and forced the boy to reciprocate. Top Hollywood producer Gary Goddard has been accused of rape by at least eight former child actors.
Following “ER” alum Anthony Edwards’ allegation that Goddard sexually assaulted him when he was just 12 years old, seven more from his Santa Barbara theater group are accusing their one-time mentor of violently raping them in the 1970’s.
Latimes.com reports: They describe Goddard’s advances as ranging from straying hands on thighs during lulls in a production or fondling in a darkened Disneyland ride, to repeated incidents of sexual abuse during a troupe’s overnight stays in a statewide tour. In addition, Edwards and another former theater student said in interviews that a classmate who has since died, Scott Drnavich, told them that he was sexually assaulted by Goddard as a boy.
Goddard, 65, has led an eclectic and lucrative career directing, producing and writing in Hollywood and on Broadway, and as a designer of theme parks and other attractions. He declined to be interviewed. His publicist, Sam Singer, disputed the allegations, which he said were “full of innuendo and hearsay.”
“If it were possible to prove a negative, Mr. Goddard would debate these 40-year-old allegations,” Singer said, but instead would only “categorically deny” their veracity.
Goddard’s accusers have gone on to achieve success in Hollywood and other industries, but they say they have grappled with the psychological aftershocks of his alleged abuse. Their personal sagas have involved therapy, tearful revelations to others and dramatic confrontations with the man they once revered.
“This is a man who’s attracted to little boys, and attracted in the sickest way,” said Edwards, an Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning actor known for roles in “Top Gun” and “ER.” “This is not love, this is not friendship what he was doing. It is a horror because it is manipulating young hearts and minds.”
‘The Lost Boys’
For decades, the seaside hamlet about 100 miles north of Los Angeles was a surprisingly busy incubator for Hollywood talent. Goddard, who graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 1970, acted in and directed student productions with budding stars such as Timothy Bottoms, who along with his three brothers went on to film and television fame.
Goddard, a Disney geek whose mother made sandwiches at the local deli, was on an early similar track to success. He majored in theater, dance and film at the California Institute of the Arts before landing a role at Walt Disney Imagineering, the company’s vaunted theme park design group, in 1976.
He continued to stay involved in Santa Barbara, directing youth productions including “Oliver!” and “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
To many boys, Goddard was as close as any family member. “He was kind of magical and exciting,” said Bret Nighman, a former actor who first met Goddard when he was 13. Edwards described Goddard as a “mentor, teacher and friend,” and a “dominant force” in his life. Former actor Mark Driscoll said that for a period of time the shaggy red-haired auteur became “the most important person in my life.”
But there was a downside to his attention, several of his former proteges said, causing them to avoid being last in the car with Goddard, or closest to his bed on an overnight trip.
Driscoll said that Goddard repeatedly sexually abused him over the course of three years, though he declined to provide details. “I knew I would have to experience things I didn’t want to” whenever the mentor visited, he said. Four Santa Barbara classmates told The Times that Driscoll informed them of the sexual abuse during a get-together two decades ago.
Nighman said that Goddard attempted to molest him on four occasions by the time he was 16, culminating in an incident in 1977 at the mentor’s home in which he allegedly rubbed Nighman’s crotch and forced the boy to reciprocate.
Nighman’s childhood friend Mark Daly, now an attorney in Denver, said that Nighman told him about one of the alleged occurrences of abuse, in which Goddard attempted to fondle him during a touring production of “Peter Pan.”
Linus Huffman, who acted in Goddard’s “Oliver!” at the age of 13, alleged that Goddard also attempted to use mentoring during the production as an overture to touch him.

Egan accuses Singer of sexually assaulting him in the late 90's, when Egan was between the ages of 15 and 17. It is not the first time Goddard has faced these types of accusations.He was named in a teen sex abuse lawsuit in 2014 by Michael Egan, whose case later collapsed under his own credibility issues, and his lawyers apologized for making false claims against some of the defendants.Egan later went to jail for fraud.Seeing Goddard's name in the press triggered Edwards, he writes, leading him to seek outside help."At 51 years old, I was directed by a group of loving friends to a therapist who specializes in this kind of abuse.By processing my anger in a safe place with a professional, I was finally able to have the conversation that I wish I could have had with my mom when I was 14," he explains.As a result of that process, he has gained perspective on the abuse he suffered, but also how widespread his experience is among men.

It is not the first time Goddard has faced these types of accusations.He was named in a teen sex abuse lawsuit in 2014 by Michael Egan, whose case later collapsed under his own credibility issues, and his lawyers apologized for making false claims against some of the defendants.Egan later went to jail for fraud.Seeing Goddard's name in the press triggered Edwards, he writes, leading him to seek outside help."At 51 years old, I was directed by a group of loving friends to a therapist who specializes in this kind of abuse.By processing my anger in a safe place with a professional, I was finally able to have the conversation that I wish I could have had with my mom when I was 14," he explains.As a result of that process, he has gained perspective on the abuse he suffered, but also how widespread his experience is among men.

Last week, 31-year-old former child actor, Michael Egan III, filed a civil suit against X-Men director Bryan Singer. Egan accuses Singer of sexually assaulting him in the late 90's, when Egan was between the ages of 15 and 17.
Now, Egan and his lawyer, Jeff Herman, have filed similar lawsuits alleging molestation against three more Hollywood heavyweights, Garth Ancier, David Neuman, and Gary Goddard.
When Egan was 15, he moved onto the Encino California, M & C Estate, following promises of acting opportunities. But once on the estate, he was victimized by the under-age sex ring organized by then soon-to-be-convicted paedophile Marc Collins-Rector. Egan wasn't the only such victim on the Estate, and it was testimony from other victims that saw Collins-Rector put on the Florida Sex Offender Registry in 2004.
Egan's says he was abused by members of the sex ring, including Bryan Singer, Garth Ancier, David Neuman, and Gary Goddard. All the men also allegedly abused Egan in 1999, when Collins-Rector flew him to the Paul Mitchell estate in Kailua, Hawaii.
The civil suit has been filed in Hawaii because of a two year suspension of the statute of limitations on sex abuse cases in that state. The suspension runs out on Thursday.
In his court documents and in interviews, Egan described a pattern in which Collins-Rector would ply him with drugs and alcohol, then make him available for sex to the rich and powerful men who were in the sex ring.
At a press conference, Egan's mother tearfully described how she unsuccessfully tried to get the FBI to prosecute the crimes back in the year 2000. Meanwhile, attorneys for each of the accused Hollywood heavyweights have dismissed Egans claims as libelous and false.

Okay nerds. The Islands of Adventure design and construction footage is at 1:10, 25:10, 27:52, 40:00, and 44:45. We know that's why you're here. Which brings us now back to Billion Dollar Fun, and my observations. I agree with the show that today’s E-Ticket attractions share a lot in common with Hollywood blockbusters. Neither of them are released in short intervals. Okay nerds. The Islands of Adventure design and construction footage is at 1:10, 25:10, 27:52, 40:00, and 44:45. We know that's why you're here.
Which brings us now back to Billion Dollar Fun, and my observations. I agree with the show that today’s E-Ticket attractions share a lot in common with Hollywood blockbusters. Neither of them are released in short intervals. Each studio will have only one or two major blockbusters a year, and theme parks (since there is limited space to build and popular E-Tickets bring in far less immediate revenue than popular movies) only release E-Tickets once every 3-5 years (or in Epcot’s case, once every Peter Quill visit).
Both have become billion-dollar industries in themselves, and thus have captured the attention of movie studios. They’re always looking for more ways to make money after all. Especially if you’re, say, Paramount, and don’t currently own any theme parks, you could license popular properties such as Star Trek or Mission: Impossible to Universal for huge fees (plus a percentage of merchandise revenues of course) and have absolutely no downside if the ride flops, since you didn’t spend any money to build the thing to begin with. So this area is a potential cash cow.
I was very impressed with the number of major Hollywood and theme park players TLC was able to put on camera (it seems the earlier the special, the more celebrities were willing to be interviewed). In this special we get not only the ubiquitous Steven Spielberg and Douglas Trumbull Universal interviews, but also Stan Lee, Gary Kurtz (producer of the original Star Wars trilogy), Jan de Bont (director of Speed and Twister), Gary Goddard, James Cameron, and even Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich (directors and producers of Independence Day, Godzilla, and The Day After Tomorrow).
And that’s where film-based attractions, from Mr. Toad to Gringotts, succeed. It’s happening to you. You are Snow White, and in tonight’s episode, you are the star. Trumbull notes that rides are like dreams or out-of-body experiences. They exist in a hyper-reality so beloved by John Hench and other theme park philosophers. Jan de Bont chimes in by saying that audiences “want to be closer to danger.” Rather than simply see the shark attack on the screen, they want the shark to attack them, as long as nobody actually gets hurt, like a good magic trick. Rides based on films work best when a particular visceral action sequence can be identified and connected with the audience’s preconceived notions of the film on which the attraction is based. James Cameron adds that rides “break down the barrier” between the audience and the characters. The audience in T2: 3-D can see the characters jump from the screen onto the stage, and then back. Lines of reality are blurred. And lastly, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the producers of Godzilla say probably the most prescient item about this subject, when they mention that a film-based attraction has to be an extension of a movie, not merely the exploitation of a movie. Disney certainly has a lot to learn in that area nowadays. But it’s certainly correct. I’ll be nice here and point out that the most successful film-based attractions, especially recently (Forbidden Journey, Gringotts, Flight of Passage) are extensions of the movies they represent, with new scenes and actions by the characters. They are not merely there to be a “Harry Potter ride.”
So where is this technology taking us, or, more specifically, where does our celebrities think the technology will take us? Douglas Trumbull thinks that there is the possibility for an audience member to have a one-to-one encounter with Harrison Ford or Harry Potter, where the characters directly interact with you (you know, all these other people think I’m talking to them…). Jan de Bont wants to take the theme park potential beyond the berm and into the movie theater. For Twister, he wished every theater could have moving seats, blowing air, and the smell of the humidity so the audience can better feel what the characters were going through. I guess we still have yet to figure that one out. But things to think about for you future three-dimensional entertainment designers.

Deadline reports that Fox has set Drew Goddard to write and direct X-Force, the X-Men spinoff that revolves around Deadpool and Cable leading a Black Ops team of mutant warriors. Simon Kinberg, Ryan Reynolds and Lauren Shuler Donner are producing, with both Reynolds and Josh Brolin’s Cable expected to star. A release date has not been set.

Deadline reports that Fox has set Drew Goddard to write and direct X-Force, the X-Men spinoff that revolves around Deadpool and Cable leading a Black Ops team of mutant warriors. Simon Kinberg, Ryan Reynolds and Lauren Shuler Donner are producing, with both Reynolds and Josh Brolin’s Cable expected to star. A release date has not been set.
