Coal, iron, bauxite & many other mineral reserves are found close to each other & in clusters naturally. The commercial auctioning of the coal mines today is a win win situation. A large population of India will get employment & states & companies will benefit: PM @narendramodi

This question has crossed my mind and also crores of Indians'. The coal sector has been kept away from transparency and competition. There were talks of coal scam in the allotment of coal blocks everywhere. Coal was produced somewhere and used in another state: PM @narendramodi

The coal sector is to come out of years of lockdown. India is the 4th largest nation & the second biggest producer of coal. We are not exporting coal but rather importing it. When we are part of the largest producer of coal, why are we not the largest exporter?: PM @narendramodi
