Genres: Drama, Short,I was waiting
For a sign of something
Was there only one thing
I could call my own
I was looking
For a new beginning
For a way of winning
All that I was owed
Oh, Mary
How could they see
When I lose it all
You bring it back to me
I was dreaming
Of a new day dawning
With the Monday morning
Running in my eyes
Oh, Mary
How could they know
First they took my heart
Then they break my soul
Oh, Mary
How could they see
When I lose it all
You give it back to me
I was hoping
For a moon at midnight
For a flash of sunlight
In the northern sky
I was searching
For the dreams of dreamers
For the scheme of schemers
Where the modest lie
Oh, Mary
How could they know
First they took my heart
Then they break my soul
Oh, Mary
How could they see
When I lose it all
You give it back to me
Oh, Mary
How could they know
First they took my heart
Then they break my soul
Oh, Mary
How could they see
When I lose it all
