The asking price of an Isle of Wight property that appeared on TV's Grand Designs has been slashed by almost £1million. Owners Bram and Lisa Vis took the drastic step after the property failed to sell, reducing the price from £3.95million to £2.99million in the last six months. The huge 7,200 square foot six-bedroom modern house is set within 2.2 acres of land with an additional 3.8 acres of private beach, along with a heated swimming pool and a jacuzzi.

The duke's presence suggests wife Meghan, who is at their Frogmore Cottage home on the Windsor Castle estate, is not expected to give birth imminently. Sir Mo Farah meanwhile failed his bid to win a first London Marathon as he came fifth with a time of 2:05:38 behind Kenyan winner Eliud Kipchoge who finished in 2:02:36. Tales Soares (left and right on catwalk after fall), a 26-year-old model participating in Sao Paulo's Fashion Week, has died after getting sick and falling on the catwalk. He was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. According to the Brazilian newspaper Folha Press Daily, Mr Soares reportedly tripped on his shoelace and fell before he began to foam at the mouth.

Judging by his spectacular photographs of African wildlife, the Duke of Sussex is something of a natural behind the lens. But while the camera never lies, Harry's pictures of a rhino, elephant and lion don't quite tell the full story. Anyone glancing at them quickly could be left with the impression that capturing images of these mighty creatures at such close quarters would have required a thrilling - possibly life-endangering - pursuit across the bush. The elephant in Malawi had also been tethered - but because of the way the picture was edited, Harry's Instagram followers were unable to see the rope around its hind legs.

Baby Sussex may not yet have a passport but Meghan and Harry are already reportedly planning their first jaunt with their little one to another continent. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be planning to take their new arrival on an official royal tour of Africa in the autumn, which would make him or her one of the youngest royals to go on an official tour. Council worker Louise Prashad, 25, from Holgate in York, was left devastated after she awoke from a coma to be told the twins she'd been carrying were stillborn. A chaotic few minutes at Elland Road saw two goals and a red card as a brawl broke out between Leeds and Aston Villa players. Kodjia went down injured, half of the Aston Villa players appeared to stop, expecting Leeds to kick the ball out. However, they played on and went on to score. John T. A manifesto posted online shortly before the attack and purporting to be by Earnest cites hatred of Jewish people as the motive for the attack, and takes credit for a separate arson attack on an Escondido mosque last month. Police killed 15 people in a fierce gun battle on the east coast of Sri Lanka on Friday, four police sources said. Officers conducted a raid and recovered bomb making equipment and ISIS memorabilia. Zainee Hashim, Rilwan Hashim and their father Mohamed Hashim, who were seen in a video circulating on social media calling for all-out war against non believers, were among 15 killed in a fierce gun battle with the military on the east coast on Friday, four police sources said. Sri Lanka has been on high alert since the attacks on Easter Sunday, with nearly 10,000 soldiers deployed across the island to carry out searches and hunt down members of two local Islamist groups believed to have carried out the attack. The repulsive industry has been exposed in a year-long investigation by former Tory peer Lord Ashcroft. The investigation, exclusively revealed in The Mail on Sunday today, shows how up to 12,000 lions bred in captivity are destined either to be shot by wealthy hunters or killed in squalid abattoirs so their bones can be exported to the Far East. Wealthy clients are emailed brochures with photographs of captive male lions, so they can choose which one to kill. Prices range from £10,000 to £42,300 and depend on the size and quality of the mane (left). Simba, a majestic 11-year-old, was bred in captivity and touted to foreign hunters looking for prime specimens to slaughter. But thanks to the actions of the undercover investigators, Simba's life has been saved - and yesterday the noble beast was released into a large enclosure at a secret location (right).

A construction crane on top of an under-construction Google building in downtown Seattle has collapsed killing four people on Saturday. The crane at the South Lake Union project collapsed on Mercer Street near Interstate 5 shortly before 3.30pm and crushed six cars below, according to the Seattle Fire Department. The Seattle Fire Department confirmed that four people were dead when firefighters reached the scene. It's unclear what caused the crane to collapse. Three people - including a mother and her baby - were also injured and taken to taken to Harborview Medical Center. Another person inside a damaged car was treated at the scene and not transported to hospital.

Contract assassin Julio Santana, now 64, who has killed more than 500 victims, has shed light on his blood drenched career as a professional killer. The hitman, who stopped counting the number of people he had killed at 492, entered the murky career in 1971 when he was just 17-years-old. Radio Free Europe photographer Amos Chapple, from New Zealand, recently had a look around the site, which lies some 185 miles south of Kiev, and captured the facility in a set of fascinating, if unnerving, photographs. The subterranean base is cylindrical and comprises 10 storeys. It was designed to be self-sufficient for 45 days in the event of a nuclear war and so it contains generators to keep the power running and (very cramped) living quarters with the odd mod con or two. Mr Chapple snapped bunk beds, the silo's microwave oven, a kettle, the launch buttons, the ladders that connect the facility's floors, a 750kg blast door and an SS-18 Satan missile on display outside. He described the experience as 'incredibly unsettling'.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and his former mistress Mildred Baena were reunited at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, California on Saturday to attend their son Joseph's college graduation ceremony. 'Congratulations Joseph!' the ex-California governor, 71, said on Twitter alongside a pic of him and Joseph. 'Four years of hard work studying business at Pepperdine and today is your big day! You have earned all of the celebration and I'm so proud of you. The boat has three bedrooms - one currently in use as a study/office - central heating and a wood burner. There is underfloor heating in the bathroom, a fully fitted kitchen area (bottom-right) and 158 square metres of living space, with wide oak floorboards, portholes and roof lights. The saloon (top-right) is big enough for two large sofas and an armchair. Neil and Jenny, who is now his wife, love the tranquillity of living on a boat. As much as the couple love their floating home, they've got the bug for projects and want to renovate a farmhouse in Italy, where Jenny's family come from.

The Gendarme officer was spotted puffing away on the Double Bridge which crosses the River Seine next to Notre Dame Cathedral in a tightly controlled 'No Smoking' area. It comes two weeks after the building's renovators admitted to smoking illegally around the cathedral. Police also found seven discarded cigarette butts around the roof, where the fire broke out.

Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard Corps say they successfully managed a surveillance flight over a US aircraft carrier, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported on Saturday. The report included footage apparently from a drone that flew over the USS Dwight D Eisenhower and another US warship in the Gulf. The images show fighter aircraft parked on the carrier deck. Tasnim did not say when the footage was shot, however the US Navy says USS Dwight D Eisenhower hasn't been in the Gulf since 2016 .

Jayne Wrightsman's passing at the age of 99 on April 20, marked the end of an era defined by the likes of Lee Radziwill and Jacqueline Kennedy- Onassis. But the fundamental difference that separated Jayne from her elite circle of aristocratic friends was her own rags to riches story. Jayne reinvented herself after she married into the vast fortune of Standard Oil heir, Charles Wrightsman a socially ambitious man who transformed Jayne into a swan of Fifth Avenue. She became a connoisseur of French 17th and 18th century decor and amassed a priceless collection of paintings by Monet, Renoir, Vermeer. Eventually, she became First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy's mentor and silent handmaiden in her effort to restore The White House. Wrightsman became hostess to a long roster of social and political elite, entertaining from her palatial Palm Beach mansion that was eventually purchased by Donald Trump.

Models have taken to the runway at the NRA convention in Indianapolis to show off the latest clothing and accessories designed specifically for women to conceal their guns. A slippery customer was spotted on the number 26 bus in Renfrewshire after shocked passengers spotted a snake on the window ledge (left). Bus inspector Mick McArthur had to remove the passenger and McGill's Buses later posted a picture of the bagged snake (right). It is said to have escaped from a bag belonging to a couple who were having a row and became distracted. After a panicked call to lost property, the five-foot snake was returned to its owners.

Bootprints of 749 GIs have been laid out on Slapton Sands, in Devon, (left and right) to mark the 75th anniversary of Exercise Tiger (inset), the secret mission to prepare for the Allied invasion of Normandy. The troops were killed on April 28 1944 when a Royal Navy convoy carrying them was torpedoed by fast-moving E-boats from Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine. More people died during the exercise than in the D-Day landing at Utah Beach.

A 17-year-old daredevil, who goes by the name of The Little Nuisance, has pulled off the ultimate death-defying stunt by hanging from the 44-storey Anaconda Cut building, which stands at 430 feet, in Salford, Manchester using only three fingers. The teenager, who often posts his stunts on Instagram, carried out the heart-pounding rooftop stunt on April 20.
