President Trump said on the eve of his outing with Japanese Premier Shinzo Abe that they'd play a quick round at a 'beautiful' place before he goes to Green Bay later on Saturday. Trump's rally on Saturday in Green Bay appears to be intentionally timed opposite the event that is meant to be an annual Washington love-in, a dinner where White House journalists and the president yuck it up in a hotel ballroom. Members of the White House Correspondents' Association, or WHCA, will be decked out in bow ties and gowns at the downtown Washington Hilton. Trump, however, will be 685 miles away. The cartoon (top) in question portrays President Trump as a blind man wearing a yarmulke while being led by a dog with Israeli Prime MInister Benjamin Netanyahu’s face imposed on the pooch’s body. The New York Times said that the cartoon was printed by the newspaper’s international edition. ‘A political cartoon in the international print edition of The New York Times on Thursday included anti-Semitic tropes, depicting the prime minister of Israel as a guide dog with a Star of David collar leading the president of the United States, shown wearing a skullcap,’ the Times wrote (bottom left inset) on Saturday. Donald Trump Jr's tweet is seen bottom right. He said the publication of the cartoon was disgusting and described it as flagrant anti-Semitism.

Eventually, she became First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy's mentor and silent handmaiden in her effort to restore The White House. Wrightsman became hostess to a long roster of social and political elite, entertaining from her palatial Palm Beach mansion that was eventually purchased by Donald Trump.

Nick Bosa, 21, was the San Francisco 49ers' second overall draft pick Thursday. He recently had his social media accounts scrubbed of negative tweets about black pop culture icons and his pro-Trump sentiments. Bosa then apologized for some of his 'insensitive' tweets, particularly the tweet in which he called former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick a 'clown'. But Trump tweeted Saturday morning to congratulate the rising star. 'You will be a great player for years to come, maybe one of the best', he said. The president also urged Bosa to 'always stay true to yourself' before adding 'MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!'.

The Duchess of Sussex is said to have 'felt sorry' for sister-in-law Kate Middleton after she posed for photos looking fresh-faced outside the Lindo Wing in Paddington, London. Meghan Markle (left) is expected to give birth to her first child in the coming days and will snub the traditional photo call outside the royal's favourite maternity ward. Friends have said this may be because the 37-year-old does not want the fuss of having to put on a show and dress up just hours after giving birth. A source said the perfectly polished look had put Meghan off the much sought after photo shoot following the birth, especially after Kate Middleton had emerged looking immaculate following the birth of Prince Louis (right with Prince William and newborn Louis).

Prince Harry posted a spectacular wildlife album on Instagram to mark Earth Day alongside a caption in which he wrote about safeguarding the planet. However the reality is that the rhino, elephant and lion shown in the images had all been tranquilised before the photographs were taken. The elephant had also been tethered, as a photo from a different angle shows (main). This had been cropped out of the photo that appeared on Harry's Instagram page (inset).

A once-prominent New York City surgeon who told police ‘I’m the hero’ during a parking ticket dispute in 2016 won a $1.2 million lawsuit on Friday, after successfully arguing the cops used excessive force - despite her hitting one of the officers with her car. Rachel Wellner, 43, initially filed a $30 million suit against the city, claiming her civil rights were violated when an officer allegedly pushed her and grabbed her arm during a traffic stop in Midtown, three years ago. Wellner had illegally parked her Volvo over a crosswalk to dash into a store in February 2016. When she returned, she saw police issuing her a parking ticket, and reportedly became confrontational.

Sex Pistols rocker Johnny Rotten is crying foul about the Los Angeles homeless crisis that has gripped his swanky neighborhood of Venice Beach.   The 63-year-old punk icon says his multi-million dollar home has been vandalized and that his publishing heiress wife is 'struggling to cope' with the surge of 'vagrants' in the area.  'They moved in en masse. They're all young, they're all like 24,' Rotten is quoted as telling Newsweek in The New York Post. 

Police said a hiker who died may never have been found if it wasn't for his loyal dog who alerted rescuers to the location of his body. The 64-year-old man had gone hiking with the couple’s dog, Daisy, on Wednesday in Eatonville, Washington and hadn’t returned home by dark.The dog stayed by the body of his owner, who has not been named, overnight from Wednesday until he was found on Thursday evening.The man’s wife called 911 early Thursday to report him missing and search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area immediately.The missing man reportedly often went hiking with his dog, but did not leave a note to say where he was going.Detectives were able to ping the missing man's phone which indicated that it was last used in the Alder Lake area. Pierce County Sheriff's office said its Mountain Detachment deputies and air Operations Unit searched the main roads and logging roads surrounding the lake.

Jussie Smollett's younger brother has been seen helping him move his belongings to a new home in California.Jake Smollett, who is also an actor, was spotted loading boxes out of Jussie's Studio City apartment to a new pad for the embattled star on Wednesday.Jake, who is strongly supportive of his brother, lugged items including workout equipment, chairs, mirrors and lamps into a haulage truck in Studio City in pictures obtained by TMZ. On the same day, Jussie was spotted in New York having lunch with Empire showrunner Brett Mahoney. It is not known where Jussie is moving of why but it comes as his acting career faces an uncertain future.It comes days after a Chicago judge criticized Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx's office for dropping charges against actor Jussie Smollett while charging another unknown woman for filing a false police report.Smollett was initially charged with 16 felony counts after allegedly staging a fake hate crime against himself that prompted a massive police investigation.The Empire star, who is black and gay, claimed that two white men attacked him on the sidewalk shouting racist and anti-gay slurs, as well as slogans of President Donald Trump. Foxx's office dropped all charges against Smollett, despite the sworn testimony of two Nigerian bodybuilders who said Smollett had paid them to stage the hoax.

In his note (left), the teacher explained that he was waiting to see the new 'Avengers' film (right) because his his brother is out of town on business. 'So help me Jeebus, if any one you spoils a single frame of this movie for me, I promise I will make you wish that Thanos snapped your narrow a**,' the teacher wrote in his note. The film is the culmination of 11 years and 22 movies set in the Marvel universe.

A tattoo-faced killer has been charged with murdering his prison cellmate in what authorities are calling an exceptionally sadistic slaying. Jaime Osuna, 31, allegedly tortured and beheaded Luis Romero, 44, inside California's Corcoran State Prison, northeast of Santa Barbara, on March 9.  Romero is reported to have bled to death from the attack, which was conducted with 'a sharp metal object wrapped in string and attached to a handle'.

Clayton Whatley, 21, who reportedly is enlisted in the U.S. Army, was charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon inside an institute of higher education on Thursday.The bullet he unintentionally fired struck two other cadets - one male, one female - in their calf muscles and grazed another would-be cop. The two cops who were shot had to be taken to the local hospital.

A bystander captured the hilarious moment police had to pull out all the stops to get a four-year-old girl tearing down the street off the road in Little Rock, Arkansas, with her trusty chihuahua by her side. The video shows officers chasing after the little girl, as she pedals with all of her might toward a railroad crossing. they eventually catch up to her, and the officers can be seen at the end of the clip guiding the little girl to the side of road, out of harm's way. Her little dog gets in on the action too, jumping up to get the attention of the police. The video was recorded on April 19.

Sylvester Stallone was locked in a raging spat as he argued with a driver over a parking space. The actor, 72, appeared furious as he stormed out of his car to confront a female motorist who reportedly tried to steal his spot in a parking lot in LA on Friday.  Sylvester looked just like his character Rambo as he marched over to the driver and became locked in a heated discussion.

Idris Elba has tied the knot with Sabrina Dhowre in a stunning three-day ceremony in Morocco. In absolutely breathtaking images captured by British Vogue , the genetically gifted couple, who got engaged last year, looked smitten as they exchanged vows at the Ksar Char Bagh hotel in Marrakesh on Friday. Sabrina, 29, opted for two exquisite dresses by Vera Wang for her big day - a bardot style gown for the ceremony and a pearl embroidered number for the reception - while Idris, 46, looked dapper in a bespoke suit by Ozwald Boateng.

Baltimore Ravens superfan Mo Gaba (left), 13, made history on Saturday by announcing his favorite NFL team's fourth round pick. Mo is a middle school student who has been blind since he was 9-months-old. He's also a die-hard sports fan who frequently calls into Baltimore's local sports talk radio shows to discuss what's happening with the Orioles and the Ravens.

Designers in Australia have dreamt up a stunning house to stand at the top of a cliff face, high above the crashing waves of the ocean, to provide the ultimate seaside view for residents (pictured: the house at the top of the cliff, left; and its minimalist interior and sea view, right). The concept home was designed by Australian prefab architecture specialists Modscape Concept, who were inspired by the shape of barnacles clinging to the hull of a ship. The designers said: 'The interior features minimal furniture throughout, in order to emphasise the connection to the ocean and the horizon.'

Terrifying video posted to Instagram on Thursday shows a Toronto man putting his life on the line to rescue his cat stranded on a neighbor's balcony. The footage, filmed by a man in an opposite apartment block, shows the devoted pet owner inching across a narrow ledge on the high-rise building in Liberty Village order to reach the feline.  At the beginning of the clip, the cat's owner can be seen seen with another friend on their own balcony, seeming to discuss whether or not to embark on the risky rescue operation. 

It took just a matter of seconds for two 500-foot cooling towers from Massachusetts' last coal-fired power plant to be reduced to rubble on Saturday. The controlled demolition went off as scheduled at 8am at the former Brayton Point Station in Somerset. The plant had burned coal since 1963, but after environmental groups campaigned for cleaner sources of energy generation, it finally closed its doors in 2017.

North Bergen High School students in New Jersey performed the movie 'Alien' as a play and it got so much attention that Sigourney Weaver showed up to their encore performance on Friday (shown at left). The special showing was made possible in part by a $5,000 gift from the production company belonging to the 1979's film's director Ridley Scott, who learned of the student's adaptation after it went viral. The drama club initially ran its production for two nights only on March 19 and 22. Alien, which was released in 1979, follows the story of the crew of a commercial space ship when an alien invades their space craft. Weaver played Ellen Ripley in the 1979 film, as shown at right, at bottom. The student who played Ellen Ripley in the school play on the 40th anniversary of the film, which has been dubbed 'Alien Day,' is pictured at right, at the top, character.

Anna Khramtsova has topped a list of more than 1,000 women national guards who have entered a beauty contest in Russia. More than 57,000 Russians voted in the bizarre contest. The gun-toting ensign says she has had to cope with sexism in the military force which reports directly to Putin. Other finalists will appear in a 2020 calendar for the national guard whose mission is to secure borders, combat terrorism and protect public order.

Chin Wui Kin (bottom centre), 48, was left stranded for two days and had been part of a 13-member expedition led by a French climber and was separated from the others during the descent on Mount Annapurna (right). Nirmal Purja (left), who served in the UK military for 16 years was in the area completing ' Project Possible ', a mission to climb all 14 peaks of the Himalayas in seven months, when his team was alerted than Mr Kin was missing. Mr Purja, who was a Royal Gurkha, took to social media to slam the insurance company, which he claims had denied emergency help.

Brides-to-be who don't follow professional football and their best friends were met with an unwelcome surprise in Nashville this weekend, as the bachelorette party capital was overtaken by the NFL draft. Many of the groups of women who traveled to Music CIty to enjoy what is often called their 'last fling before the ring' were clueless about the thousands uninvited guests who would be dominating their parties. But overall, the ladies found ways to make the most of their time in 'Nashvegas,' circumventing the crowds on foot or simply accepting the potentially long ride share wait times, and taking pedal taverns off Broadway. An amazing photo has captured dozens of cockatoos perched on the edge of a picturesque balcony after young boy mischievously fed them a snack. The picture, which was taken at a holiday home in Hamilton Island, Queensland, shows two-year-old James staring in wonder at the birds. The picture was shared to Reddit with the caption: 'They say not to feed the cockatoos. Guess who didn't listen?' 

New Yorkers Louis Frangella, 28, and Courtney Kaiser, 26, left their Long Island home on April 7 and before they set foot back on American soil just over two weeks later, the engaged couple had visited the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal, Petra in Jordan, the Roman Colosseum, the site of Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, Machu Picchu and Chichen Itza. Their favorites were Machu Picchu and Petra, in Jordan, but the entire experience was one for a lifetime. The two shared snapshots throughout the journey on their Instagram page under an account aptly named ' @wonderchasers.' Frangella won the opportunity through a competition where he works at Howard Hughes Corporation and Kaiser joined him on the fully-funded adventure.

A golden retriever (main) has impressed onlookers by standing up and walking up a row of steps. Footage, believed to be in China, shows the dog at the bottom of the stairs eagerly wagging its tail before getting up on its hind legs. The dog quickly makes each step keeping its front paws up, likely to help keep balance as the owner waits at the top of the stairs.

In 1969, the Apollo 10 crew, pictured left, ejected lunar module ‘Snoopy’ from the Apollo command module, seen right, into a perpetual orbit around the moon. Nick Howes, inset center, a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, along with legendary flight controllers, space dynamics experts and astronauts from the Apollo program, has spent a number of years in a calculated hunt for the probe and believes he may have found it. Now all they need is someone with the expertise to go and retrieve it.
