Britney Spears' boyfriend Sam Asghari assures fans singer is 'doing amazing' after checking into mental health facility: 'Nobody needs to worry'

Fans have been worrying about Britney Spears ever since the singer voluntarily admitted herself into a mental health facility last month, but fortunately the star's boyfriend Sam Asghari had a positive update on Tuesday.

In a video obtained by TMZ, Sam, 25, reveals the singer is 'doing amazing' and that there is no need to 'worry' about her.

'She's doing amazing, thankfully her fans are so amazing to be concerned... but she's doing great,' he said

'Nobody needs to worry,' he continued. 'She's doing amazing, she'll be back soon.'

Sam, who has been dating Britney for three years, was pictured with the pop star on Sunday in Beverly Hills.

The Stronger singer received a day pass from the facility, and spent Easter day with her family, according to TMZ.

It was the first time Britney had been pictured since admitting herself into a mental health facility.

Britney's admittance to the facility was triggered by both her father Jamie's health woes and in part because doctors had been adjusting her medication, according to TMZ.

The site reports that the cocktail of drugs she does take to stabilize her mental health had been designed for her but had become less efficient over time.

The hit-maker has nearly completed her 30-day stint at a mental health facility.

Since entering treatment, there has been speculation the pop star's stint in the facility might be 'against her will', sparking the #freeBritney hashtag.
