Kaia Gerber, 17, has been a rising star in the heavily competitive, world of modeling in recent years.
But on Monday she kept with her recent trend and took a timeout from the catwalk to enjoy some frozen yogurt with a female friend in Malibu.

She also kept up with her recent retro 90s-look trend.
During the casual outing, Kaia matched a black Dickies zipper jacket over a white t-shirt with black denim jeans and black Converse sneakers.

The 5ft 9in beauty pulled her long brown tresses back into a ponytail with a part in the middle as she flashed a big beaming smile.

Later in the day, Kaia took to her Instagram to wish her friend, and fellow model, Gigi Hadid a happy 24th birthday.
'Happy Birthday my beautiful Taurus angel,' she wrote along with a picture of the two together and an birthday cake emoji.
In a few shorts years, Kaia has already modeled for the likes of Vogue, Teen Vogue and Pop Magazine.

She made her runway debut in 2017 for Raf Simons' Calvin Klein Collection, which led to other high-profile brands that includes Marc Jacobs, Prada, Coach, Chanel, Fendi and Versace.
Kaia's father, Rande Gerber, also spent his younger years as a model before turning to business.
He and Crawford will celebrate their 21st wedding anniversary May 29.
