Supergirl's Jeremy Jordan and 'incredible wife' Ashley Spencer welcome their first child together with the birth of daughter Clara
Jeremy Jordan is now the proud father of a beautiful baby girl, Clara Eloise Jordan.
The Supergirl star's wife, Ashley Spencer, gave birth to their first child on Sunday in New York and he shared a host of photos boasting about his 'incredible' partner on social media.
Jordan announced the happy news via Instagram on Monday as mom and baby cuddled together shortly after little Clara was welcomed into the world.

The newborn laid on her mother's chest as Ashley looked down lovingly at the child.
Letting the world now about the birth, Jordan wrote a touching caption addressed directly to their first born.

'Clara Eloise. They tried to prepare us, but you defy all expectation. You are utter perfection,' he began.
Then going on to applaud Ashley he wrote: 'And to my incredible wife Ashley, I will never forget your bravery and strength. Yesterday, I fell in love with you all over again.'
And remembering to thank all who helped things run smoothly he finished the caption off with, 'Thank you as well to the incredible staff at @nyphospital and @weillcornell... And to Molly and Ron Spencer as well as @brauhala for keeping us going through the all nighter.'

The smash actor had previously teased the big news by posting a selfie of him with a tiny footprint on is forearm.
He explained the shot saying, 'The ink is temporary. The footprint is permanent.'
Ashley, who rose to fame with her second-place finish on the 2007 reality competition series Grease: You’re the One That I Want!, met the CW star after reaching out to him as a professional connection.

She recounted the start to their story telling broadway.com, 'I saw Jeremy singing [in an online video] while I was auditioning for Rock of Ages, and I was like, ‘Wow, he can really sing.’ It’s a huge turn-on!'
'So we started messaging each other on Facebook about Rock of Ages, and he was really helpful,' she said.
The duo married in 2012 at the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist in Canton, Ohio.
Explaining how they lasted through six years of marriage, Spencer said, the couple are 'very supportive of each other' through all the ups and downs that come with their crazy professional of choice, show business.
'He and I have been together for three years, and I certainly haven’t been working consistently for three years, and he’s had months where he hasn’t been working,' she began.
'But we’re huge support systems for each other and we find a really nice balance. When we come home, we shut work off and try to get out and do things together. He’s an amazing man, and he’s my best friend.'
