The TV host headed to Nassau, Bahamas, last week with husband Doug and her three children for their Easter holiday after her dramatic departure from the TODAY Show last October.
The family stayed at the exclusive Albany resort, DailyMail.com has learned, where suites cost at least $2,500 a night.
But things may be looking up for the 48-year-old, as DailyMail.com can reveal that networks are taking a big interest to Kelly.
'Megyn has been getting a load of big interest as networks are saying there is a need for Megyn's voice in broadcast journalism. The Town Halls with candidates and other news coverage is unsatisfying,' a source tells DailyMail.com.
'No other journalist has her skill set and knowledge to follow up in interviews, to go layers deep and reveal important moments to the viewer.
'Most journalists now are delivering points of view with no substance. These new candidates need someone sharp enough to challenge them.'
