Queen Letizia of Spain showed she's perfectly in touch with the seasons as she donned a favourite floral designer dress to join King Felipe VI in honouring Spanish literary stars at a traditional lunch today in Madrid.
The mother-of-two stepped out in the stunning frock, thought to be custom-made by Carolina Herrera, as she attended the Royal Palace literary function.
The event followed yesterday's annual Miguel de Cervantes awards ceremony in the small Spanish city of Alcala de Henares, which celebrates writers working in the Spanish language.
The wife of the monarch, who finished her look with a sharp pair of cobalt heels, beamed as she greeted esteemed guests including professors and writers.
King Felipe wore a pink tie that matched a selection of the flowers in Letizia's dress for a coordinated look.

The Spanish royals took time to pose for photos with the former literature teacher who now lives in Austin, Texas and has language skills in French, English, Italian and Portuguese in addition to Spanish.
Queen Letizia and King Felipe's attendance to the lunch is the third public appearance within four days.
The couple have a busy schedule remaining for the rest of the week including a visit to the Armilla Air Base.
