Why should the taxpayer fork out millions to make Harry and Meghan the King and Queen of

Apparently, Britain's already got too small for the couple dubbed 'royal rock stars' by their own palace courtiers. So it's been revealed that Meghan and Harry are planning to move to the much larger global stage of the gigantic African continent after their baby arrives, to rub off a bit of their regal stardust magic there. Lucky Africans! Poor Brits! Well yes, very poor Brits actually, because we'll be the ones who pay for it for however long this African jolly, or should I say folly, lasts. And with full Metropolitan Police protection teams required to provide 24/7 security, and Meghan's large retinue of personal staff, the cost could run into millions. We're also told that one of the other reasons for Harry and Meghan leaving Britain is to keep them apart from Wills and Kate, because the wives especially can't stand each other.

Chilling footage of Shangri-La terror attack: ISIS bombers wearing backpacks take the lift to second-floor hotel buffet before blowing themselves up in Sri Lanka atrocity 'to avenge Christchurch massacre'

Wearing backpacks, the two Sri Lanka bomobers appear to discuss their plans in the elevator on the second floor of Colombo's Shangri-La hotel, in the final moments before the Easter Sunday massacre. The attackers then enter the Table One eatery almost unnoticed while hotel guests are having breakfast before he detonates his deadly weapon. In a split second the plush restaurant becomes a scene of horror as the bomb explodes in a cloud of smoke and bright red flame. Sri Lankan officials believe one of the attackers at the Shangri-La was the son of a wealthy Colombo spice trader, and one of two Muslim brothers among the perpetrators of the Easter attacks in which more than 300 died.

The country's Deputy Defense Minister Ruwan Wijewardene told a press conference that one of the attackers on Easter Sunday studied in the UK.

Alaina Teplitz, America's ambassador to Sri Lanka, warned of attacks on 'large gatherings [and] public spaces' as the country's defence minister admitted it will be days before the situation is under control.

Few of us can know the true pain that the parents of those children murdered in cold blood in Sri Lanka must be enduring. It is unimaginable, unfathomable, inconceivable.

Sri Lankan police raided the copper factory last night and took nine suspects - including the manager - into custody.

Climate change activist Greta Thunberg, 16, meets Westminster party leaders

Britain's most high-profile politicians rushed back from their holidays today to be photographed alongside a 16-year-old environmental activist who took the House of Commons by storm. MPs including John Bercow, Jeremy Corbyn (top left) and Ed Miliband (bottom left) welcomed Greta Thunberg to Parliament, where she made a speech about climate change and got a rapturous round of applause. Miss Thunberg is the schoolgirl whose refusal to go to school because of global warming led to children around the world skipping classes in protest. She came to Britain on Sunday and spoke to protesters camping out in Marble Arch and causing chaos to London's transport networks. Today, she met political leaders at Westminster, including Mr Corbyn, John Bercow (bottom right) and Green Party MP Caroline Lucas at Parliament, but Theresa May didn't attend (top right).

I am an actual scientist of physics, meteorology, astrophysics and climate and say Greta Thunberg is wrong and suffers mental abuse by manipulative adults.' Yesterday, Labour leader Jeremy met with Greta (left), who is visiting the UK to express her support for the ongoing Extinction Rebellion protests in London.

Experts reveal the clever tricks Kate uses when taking snaps of her children

Kate Middleton, 37, shared three snaps of Prince Louis yesterday to mark his first birthday. The Duchess has previously described herself as an 'enthusiastic amateur photographer'. In 2015 Kate shared the first non-professional official photograph of a royal baby. Here professional photographers Bronwen Sharpe and Jaimie Harris discuss the clever techniques employed by the Duchess to make these simple pictures of her children so captivating. Bronwen says Kate has a 'natural ability to capture humanity and great eye for composition'. She often manages to capture unstaged moments (like this shot of Prince George, left, pictured on his first day at nursery in November 2014), uses bright outfits to make the photo pop (as in this picture, centre, of Princess Charlotte, taken to mark her second birthday in April 2017) and blurred, out of focus backgrounds (like in her recent shot of Prince Louis, right).
