Billionaire ASOS owner Anders Holch Povlsen has said that three of his four children were killed in the Sri Lanka terror attacks on Easter Sunday (inset). Povlsen is the second largest private landowner in the UK and is the biggest shareholder in ASOS. Just days before the devastating attacks, one of Povlsen's children, Alma, shared a snap of her three siblings Astrid, Agnes and Alfred, next to a pool (right). The three children are seen facing away from the camera. It is not yet known which of Povlsen's three children have died. Povlsen, 46, is married to Anne Storm Pedersen (pictured together left). The pair met when Anne began working in sales for Bestseller.

Around half of the victims were said to have been children – some of whom are thought to be pictured centre. They were caught in the suicide blast as they left Sunday school and played in the grounds of the church, inset. Brave worshippers are said to have confronted a man ‘acting suspiciously’ outside. Zion Church’s pastor Father Thiru Kumaran was preparing for the Sunday service when he met the man who he believes was the suicide bomber. After he asked when the Easter mass would start, the pastor said he invited ‘Omar’ into his church. Father Kumaran believed that the attacker had been waiting for the mass to begin to cause the maximum possible casualties.

Police found three bombs inside the vehicle after locals reported it had been parked near St Anthony's Shrine in Colombo, one of the bombing targets, since Sunday. They tried to defuse the weapons but they detonated instead and sent pedestrians fleeing in panic. No injuries were reported but the further blast on Monday has heightened fears of still-undiscovered explosives on the streets of Colombo. Police found 12 detonators scattered at Colombo's main bus depot on Monday and hours later found another 75 detonators at a garbage dump in the same area.

Couple, Christopher Colgan, 56, and Elisaine Colgan, 38, who had been married for 17 years, were pulled from Miami Beach shortly after the 32-foot-long boat struck a jetty near Government Cut. The body of Fort Lauderdale resident Jennifer Y Munoz Cadavid, 28, was found Monday morning, according to Florida Fish and Wildlife spokesman Ronald Washington. Fourth victim, Troy Forte, 37, survived but he was rushed to the Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center in serious condition. Forte was in stable condition as of Sunday. The crash occurred around 9.18pm Saturday night. Photos from the crash show the capsized boat wedged against sharp rocks along the beach.

Authorities have released a new sketch and footage of the man they say murdered two teenage girls on an Indiana hiking trail two years ago as they warn that the killer is likely 'hiding in plain sight'. Liberty German, 14, and Abigail William, 13, vanished on February 13, 2017 after a relative dropped them off for a hike near the Monon High Bridge - an abandoned railroad bridge near their hometown of Delphi.  They failed to show up at a pre-arranged pickup location. Their bodies were found the next day following a search in a rugged, wooded area at the back of a property about half-a-mile away. New information was released on Monday in the two-year-old investigation as an emotional Indiana State Police Superintendent appealed to the 'little bit of a conscience' that the killer had left.

One-half of the world's ultimate power couple is opening up about her very priavte life with a very public figure. In her new book The Moment of Lift: How Empowering Women Changes the World, Melinda Gates gives a rare glimpse into her personal life, sharing details about how she and Bill first met, their dynamic both in the workplace and at home, and the measures she took to make sure her children were able to have a relatively normal upbringing despite their parent vast wealth. That last part proved to be easier than imagined, with Gates simply enrolling the children at school under her maiden name. The couple's three children - Jennifer, Rory and Phoebe - are now grown up, with the youngest headed off to college in a few years.

The twin-engine aircraft went down just before 9am Monday as it was approaching an airport in Kerrville, about 70 miles northwest of San Antonio. The victims have not yet been identified.

Delaney Barnes (left) and Solonge Green (right) were arrested last Wednesday after authorities discovered their alleged plot to kill nine of their classmates at Avon Park Middle School in Florida. An arrest report obtained by DailyMail.com revealed the contents of the eight-page plan hidden in a folder labelled 'project 11/9', 'private info' and 'do not open'. The scheme was foiled after the girls misplaced the folder and it was found by a teacher who contacted authorities upon seeing what was inside. Barnes and Green were taken to the Juvenile Justice Facility in Bartow and are facing nine counts each of criminal attempt to conspire a capital felony for premeditated homicide and criminal attempt to conspire a third-degree felony for kidnapping. 

Little Prince Louis looks gleeful as he crawls, covered in moss, around the garden in three photographs released by Kensington Palace to mark his first birthday today. The Duchess of Cambridge, a keen amateur photographer, took the glorious portraits at the family’s Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, earlier this month. And how time has flown! Now Louis is crawling – and very proud of himself, too, by the looks of it. The fifth in line to the throne is beginning to look more and more like older brother George, with his sweep of blond hair no doubt smoothed with the same styling balm that Kate, 37, uses on her eldest son.

Anna Conkey (top) stormed into the Tsidkenu Church in the Clairemont area of San Diego on Sunday while waving the handgun around, police say. The 31-year-old then walked onto the stage and started talking about the rapture while grasping the 10-month-old boy. Terrified onlookers bravely stepped in and tackled Conkey to the ground before officers arrived on the scene to arrest her. Conkey, who also worked as a journalist for NBC 7 San Diego, has ranted in YouTube videos and on Facebook posts that Jesus is a 'liar' and the Bible is a 'trap'. After examining the handgun police found it was unloaded and bomb specialists could not find any trace of explosives after a sweep of the complex. Conkey posted hour-long videos to a YouTube channel in which she claimed there was 'great deception' happening in churches and synagogues. On Sunday, the pastor said that Conkey seemed confused and 'not in her right mind.' He said that instead of speaking, Conkey was just uttering random words, and that nobody could understand what she wanted.

Donald Trump’s opponents right now remind me of Veruca Salt. First, they’re behaving like hysterically deluded, petulant and entitled brats after the Mueller report conclusions did not go their way. Second, they crave getting their Oompa Loompa, which is what many of them call Trump because they say his orange-shade face tan resembles that of Willy Wonka’s factory workers, and they’re not prepared to wait for the 2020 election to get him. Third, if they continue down this route, then they will all end up in the political equivalent of the garbage chute that propels Veruca into muck-encrusted oblivion.

Netflix has released the trailer for its documentary about freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the 2016 campaign that made her a national star.  'If I was a rational person I would have dropped out of this race a long time ago,' she says in the trailer about her challenge to powerful incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley. Ocasio-Cortez won a stunning victory in the June 2016 primary, taking out the 10-year incumbent to win the safe Democratic House seat.   

The first daughter, 25, spent the holiday weekend at her father's resort in Florida. She was joined by her boyfriend, who is the heir to the multi-billion-dollar Nigerian trading conglomerate Boulos Enterprises. The couple began dating last summer and have already been on vacation together. Michael went with Tiffany, her dad, and the rest of the family to church on Sunday. Also at Mar-a-Lago were Don Jr. and his kids and Eric and Lara Trump and their son.

Paramedics Bryan Ferguson and Billy Akers were on duty in Virginia. EF-3 tornado with winds of upwards of 150 mph touched down in front of them. The tornado ended up hitting Ferguson and Akers' ambulance full on. The pair were shaken, but miraculously were uninjured. Shaky video shows the moment the tornado hit as debris pounded the ambulance and bent the right wing mirror. The vehicle was moved around, shaking from side to side as the powerful winds struck. The glass on the rear doors also smashed.

Pro-life activist, Donna Durning (main, in white), has claimed that she was assaulted by a woman (main, in black) outside Kentucky's last abortion clinic. Durning said she approached a woman after she came out of the EMW Women's Surgical Center on April 12. Surveillance footage shows Durning speaking to the woman who is walking toward a red car. The woman quickly turns around and walks up to Durning who appears to have lost her footing and fell backward onto the sidewalk as shocked bystanders watched. Durning said she offered the woman a 'little card from Little Way Crisis pregnancy center'.

And Britney Spears enjoyed some time with her boyfriend Sam Asghari at The Montage hotel in Beverly Hills on Sunday afternoon nearly one month after voluntarily admitting herself into a mental health facility. The 37-year-old pop princess wore a delicate red sundress and brown suede Birkenstocks as she left the luxury digs with her beau by her side following reports she sought out a 30-day treatment program to address severe emotional distress associated with her father Jamie's failing health.

Penny Thompson dropped her Dodge truck off for service at the Mac Haik dealership in Mississippi last week. But she later spotted her own truck tailgating someone on the road. She followed the worker to the parking lot and got her spare key while he was inside. Then she stole her truck back, stranding him there, and headed to the dealership. They offered her a free service but only if she didn't post about the incident on Facebook. Thompson rejected their offer and her Facebook post went viral. The worker who took her truck for a joyride has since been fired.

Belle's Smokin BBQ food truck owner Jamie Smith (inset) of Williamstown, Kentucky is being criticized for mocking the LGBTQ community by creating his own meaning for the acronym and selling it on a Tee shirt to promote his business. Smith used his business's Facebook page to advertise a Tee shirt with the words, 'I support LGBTQ - Liberty, Guns, Bible, Trump, BBQ.' People called him intolerant and ignorant, which prompted him to apologize and take down the shirt, but he later posted that he's still accepting orders. Tom Ford opened up about drinking, drugs, design, decor and a chance encounter with a devil who loves Prada in an interview with Maureen Dowd that ran over the weekend in The New York Times. The man who shot to fame as the creative director of both Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent before going on to found his on eponymous label spoke about everything from his famous friends and massive real estate portfolio to his decision to get sober over a decade ago.'For several years leading up to stopping drinking - because I drank a lot - on the mornings after, I would have to send flowers to this one and flowers to that one and, "Oh, I can’t believe I did that" and "I can’t believe I said that," and I told [his partner] Richard [Buckley] for at least a year, "Oh my God, I wish I could just not drink at all,"' confessed Ford. 'And the drinking was the open door for the drugs. Three drinks and anything I could hoover, anything was going to happen.' Dowd noted that Ford, 57, mimicked doing a line of cocaine while saying this to her.

A mother and a newborn boy are back together in Brazil just a day after he was abducted from a hospital in Recife, Pernambuco. Eliane Antonia de Oliveira (right) was detained by the Civil Police at her home and confessed to the crime, telling cops she kidnapped the 14-day-old Gabriel Luciano de Melo Silva (left) because she wanted to fill a void created by a recent pregnancy loss she suffered although neighbors told cops the woman had not showed signs of being pregnant. However, because of her lack of criminal history, a judge released her from custody under the condition she remains under house arrest.

Kelly Stafford underwent surgery for acoustic neuroma, a benign brain tumor, on Sunday. The tumor develops on balance and auditory nerves, which can cause hearing loss or imbalance. Stafford began feeling dizzy last year and started suffering from vertigo spells. Her surgery was supposed to last six hours, but doctors discovered an abnormal vein and she ended up in the operating room for 12 hours. Kelly shared a video (center) that showed her up and walking around the hospital with the help of Stafford and her mother. She is seen left as she prepared to leave hospital. Jenna, 37, shared the news on the Today show on Monday morning, and revealed that she told her two daughters, Mila, six, and Poppy, three, over the Easter weekend by hiding the news inside an Easter egg for them to find. The Today host then did a gender reveal on the fourth hour of the Today show by opening up a large gift that was filled with blue boy balloons. She then shared a video of her daughters finding out that they are going to be big sisters to a little baby boy, with their parents hiding the news in Easter eggs. 'We weren't even trying to get pregnant,' Jenna revealed, before adding that the pregnancy just 'happened' on 'a date night'. She also said that both she and Henry, 40, were 'shocked' by the news, describing it as 'a lot', but added that they both felt incredibly 'grateful'.

Alannah, second from right, has an IQ of 140 and in February became the second-youngest member of Mensa. Last July, aged three years and ten months, Ophelia, pictured with her mother right, was accepted as a Mensa member. Currently there are about 20,000 members of this ‘club’, whose entry requires members to rank in the top two per cent of the population on an approved IQ test. And 60 of them are aged six and under.

Kaylah Bell from Lancaster, California went to her high school prom this weekend. The 17-year-old wore a colorful dress and matching cape. Her grandpa — or 'papa,' as she calls him — Alvin Hackett, 67, dressed up in a matching outfit to take pictures with her. Though he didn't go along with her to the dance, she was 'blessed' to take photos with him beforehand. She told DailyMail.com that her friends thought it was 'adorable' and called her grandpa 'the sharpest pastor in the Antelope Valley'.

William D. Schiller, 76 (right), who went by 'Bill,' passed away on April 8 and his dog, Chief, bid him farewell at his private North Carolina viewing on April 11. The moment was captured in a photo (shown at left) by the 12-year-old granddaughter of Bill's girlfriend, Anne Marie Sibthrop. Bill was born in Canton, Ohio, on September 11, 1942, to the late Gustave and Alma Schiller. Bill was preceded in death by both of his parents, and his brother Robert. He is survived by his sons Michael (Trisha) Schiller of Navarre, Ohio, John (Anne) Schiller of Massillon, Ohio, Mark (Brenda) Schiller of Butler, Tennessee, and a total of six granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.

Darlin Uti, 30, was snorkelling as he fixed an underwater pipe in Sulawesi, Indonesia, when a crocodile attacked him and dragged him down by his groin. His sister tried to pull him to safety but could not wrench him free. The crocodile emerged from the murky water the following day with Darlin's body still in his jaws. Rescuers managed to free the body from the crocodile and it was remarkably still intact other than the bite wounds on his groin where the beast sunk its razor-sharp teeth.

Firefighters from Alameda County Fire Department worked to save the ducklings on Saturday. A firefighter jumped into drain and began pulling the ducklings out one by one. They collected the ducklings in a cardboard box as their mother quacked nearby. The ducklings were then reunited with their mom and released in a nearby creek.

Thor, a five-year-old Belgian shepherd, fell over while walking in the woods in Croatia and managed to get a 10cm stick lodged up its nose. After sneezing blood, its owner took the dog to the vet in Zagreb. After looking up Thor's nose, vet Dr Zarko Ciric noticed a small wooden object. But as he started to extract it, both he and the owner could not believe their eyes by the length of the stick that had been stuck up the poor dog's nose for days.

Several children got their heads shaved and donned robes at the 'Children becoming Buddhist monks' ceremony at the Jogyesa temple in Seoul, South Korea, today. The children will stay at the temple to learn about Buddhism for 21 days. The ceremony comes just shy of South Korean Buddhists preparing to celebrate Buddha's upcoming birthday on 12 May.

Justin Ervin caught the hilarious moment on camera when he shot a Nerf bullet directly into his brother Dylan's mouth in Spokane, Washington. Fortunately Dylan coughed up the small yellow ball on to the floor and saw the funny side of the prank. Justin called Dylan into the room with his gun primed and he could not believe his luck when it landed straight into his brother's open mouth.
