The Campaign against Racism and Fascism would like to welcome all activists opposed to this global tide of racism, bigotry, homophobia and other forms of oppression to a serious discussion of what we are facing and what we can do in the here and now...

The Campaign against Racism and Fascism would like to welcome all activists opposed to this global tide of racism, bigotry, homophobia and other forms of oppression to a serious discussion of what we are facing and what we can do in the here and now to stop it in its tracks.

Issues to be discussed include; are we facing a populist Right-wing or fascist threat, what is the difference, do we need a different approach to each of these movements, what can we do to resist and how do we go about organising?

Speakers include:
• Maria Panagioutudu – an activist involved in the grassroots struggle against the fascist Golden Dawn party in Greece.
• Dr Jordy Silverstein – from the Australian Jewish Democratic Society. and the book is Anxious Histories: Narrating the Holocaust in Jewish Communities at the Beginning of the Twenty-First Century.
• Chris Di Pasquale - LGBTI Officer for the National Union of Students and student activist.
• Piere Morro – member of Campaign against Racism and Fascism.

Unfortunately reactions like this company in removing the billboard will only give more confidence and encourage the far right/fascists to use violence, or the threat of it, to pursue their politics.
History shows us how dangerous these groups are if we allow them to get bigger.
