Went down to again today at Oxford Circus and Waterloo Bridge. They have mobilised so many people for these protests against climate change. It's actually pretty remarkable.

Pleasing to pass through the Extinction Rebellion occupation on Waterloo bridge. Whatever one's tactical reservations, the claiming and repurposing of urban space never fails to make me grin - & the trees are a nice touch.

“You’re a load of incompetent, middle class, self indulgent people who want to tell us how to live our lives.” I’ve had my share of criticisms of , but this is absolute grotesque unprofesssionism from Sky News here.

Opinions on Assange tend to be sharply polarised: he is either an abuser undeserving of public support against extradition to the US or a champion for transparency unjustly persecuted by the American empire. argues for a more nuanced response

Shut down London for as long as it takes Whether it’s cities submerged in water, an inability to feed future generations or air pollution killing people, even most of our political class have no idea of the extent of climate change. These actions aren’t ‘extreme’, passivity is.

Starting to get ppl in my mentions about this article again.... 🙈🙉 In reflection some things I'd expand on and others I wouldn't focus on. My analysis has defo changed since November too. Overall, v glad I published it. Imo it opened up a convo about XR many wanted to have.

I went to see today & thought about this article. It strikes me that these are problems with XR, but not reasons to be against it. I feel like the left should be instinctively in support of direct action & be present to make up for the lack of politics
