(Lighting a Black Flame: The history and politics of global anarchism and syndicalism) 黒い炎を灯す世界的なアナキズムとサンジカリズムの歴史と政治 2010年 11月2日にブラジルのサンパウロで行われたルシアン・ヴァン・デン・ヴォルト氏のトーク書き起こしです。本日来てくれたみなさんに感謝する。祝日であることはわかっている。なので、来てくれてありがとう。さて、『ブラック・フレイム』の内容は膨大だ。本書全体を語るとなると複雑な話しになる。議論の時間になればいろんな議題に関して深く掘り下げることができるかもしれないがトークの中では主要なテーマについて強調して話をしていく。ちなみに本書には続きがある。『ブラック・フレイム(黒い炎)』が第一巻で、第二巻が『グローバル・ファイヤー(世界的な火』である。つまり本書は大きな企画のなかの基盤であり、アナキズムの歴史とその分派、革命的サンジカリズムまたはアナルコ・サンジカリズム、つまりアナキズムによる労働組合運動などのテーマに絞っている。用語について私がサンジカリズムと言うとき、英語の使い方に沿った特定の意味を指す革命的サンジカリズムまたはアナルコ・サンジカリズムを意味していることを理解してほしい。決してローマ系言語における労働組合一般をさしているわけではないので注意してほい。あと、私がアナキズムと言うとき、大抵はサンジカリズムを含んでいる。サンジカリズムはアナキズムの一部であるからである。このような本、つまりアナキズムを扱い、しかも(アナキズムの歴史を扱う際におちいりがちな)ヨーロッパの一部に注目するのではなく真に世界的な視点に立つ場合、必要なのは主題を注意深く定義することである。結局、アナキズムとは何か？「アナキズム」とそれ以外を分ける境界線をどこに置くかはとても重要だ。これは分析と調査において大事なことだ。勝手な線引きをして特別な印象を与えようとするという話ではないゆるやかな定義の問題点は研究の対象となる明確な主題がないことにある。含めるものと除外するものがあいまいになり、恣意的で不合理なものとなる。英語では、ピーター・マーシャルによるよく知られた調査がある。これはで重要な本であるしかしアナキズムの定義はとてもゆるやかなものである。アナキストであることは「権威」に、特に政府の「権威」に反対することであるといった定義だ。「権威」がなんなのかここでははっきり定義されていない。これから私が明らかにするように、理由がなんであれ、政府に反対することすなわち誰かが、あるいは何かがアナキストであることを定義する十分な根拠とはなりえない。この手法を用いてマーシャルが政府介入に反対したという理由で新自由主義者のマーガレット・サッチャー、またはカストロ政権の官僚主義に多少批判的であったという理由でマルクス主義者のチェ・ゲバラをアナキズムの研究の対象としたことがわかる。この二人は政府を大切にしていたが、特定の形態に限って反対していたのだ。思い出して欲しい、サッチャーは賃金を下げ、収入を富裕層に移行することで産業をつぶすことによってイギリスの福祉国家や労働組合を破壊したのだ。政府に反対したといっても、自由市場への介入に反対したに過ぎない。抗議行動参加者やストライキをした労働者を殴るためやフォークランドを侵略するためなら喜んで政府の力を使ったのだ。ゲバラにしても、ジョセフ・スターリンを敬愛し、ロシア独裁と協力し、秘密警察を備えた1党制の政府をキューバに建てる手伝いもしたのだたしかにカストロ政権の要素のうち反対していたこともあったが、ゲバラ自身が建立や維持に貢献し、見捨てることはなかったのだ。「反政府」にとどまらないアナキズムを政府に「反対」することだと定義し、「反対」する方法もゆるやかで曖昧な使い方をするならば（政府の廃止を望むのではなく少しの変化を望むことも含まれることになるだろう）、当然サッチャーやゲバラもそのアナキズムの一部とすることが合理的である。しかし同様に、マーシャルと同じく新自由主義者やマルクス・レーニン主義者を難なくアナキズムの一部として扱うアナキズムの研究は可能であるが、ここには論理的な問題が発生する。特にアナキズムを単なる反政府主義として、またあいまいな「個人」の「自由」を尊重するものであるとゆるやかに定義すると、その他の思想（特に新自由主義やマルクス・レーニン主義）と切り分けて考えることが難しくなってしまう。そいて新自由主義やマルクス・レーニン主義とアナキズムを分けることができないなら、アナキズムの潮流が存在したと明らかにすること自体がかなり難しいこととなる。 … Continue reading [TRANSLATION: Japanese]: Lucien van der Walt, 黒い炎を灯す世界的なアナキズムとサンジカリズムの歴史と政治 →
