What should answer for exactly? Exposing evidence of US atrocities in , a war that you enthusiastically voted for? Or exposing your role in spearheading the destruction of and arming the head-chopping, church-burning jihadists in ?

If you don't know how to feel about the arrest of here's the rule in Trumpworld: Hiding in an embassy? Bad if you have secrets. Chopping someone up in an embassy? Good if you have oil.

Wow. Maybe the woman who has to answer for wanting to drone-bomb , or laughing after Libya’s Gaddafi was brutally murdered by her Al-Qaeda proxies, or her great many other war crimes too copious for a 280-character tweet, should shut up and sit this one out.

Tulsi Gabbard is right. The attack on is a warning to all dissidents, reporters and whistleblowers that if you publish information that any given US administration does not like, you could face prosecution. This is a terrifying precedent.

So let me get this, was arrested by UK on US request bcoz he exposed a video of the US military assault in Iraq where journalists & civilians were targeted. So exposing war crimes can get you arrested but commiting war crimes doesn't. A messed up world we live in.

Have you noticed everytime someone acts against western powers he or she is mostly accused of sexual assault? Julian Assange might be anything but he has done a great job and changed the history

The purpose of arresting is to send a message to the people, especially journalists, to be quiet and don’t get out of line. If we, the people, allow the government to control us through fear, we are no longer free, we are no longer America.
