We all have the capacity to make our communities safer, and look out for each other. If we have the capacity to help, we also have the obligation.
Today, for Cinco de Mayo:
Don’t drink and party and sit around talking about revolutionary theory and material support. Go out and do it.
If you don’t know how, look harder. This is Arizona. 🌵 Tough environments breed tougher resistance movements. Drop some water in the desert, host an asylum seeking family, provide medical care to recent detainees, talk to your neighbors and actually ask what they need to be safer.
...Nobody cares what you would have done in another historical context: do it in the dangerous moment in history we already inhabit.
