Connor McDavid is on the ice after being taken down by Mark Giordano. His knee slammed against the post. He is unable to put weight on his left leg. That did not look good at all & it looks like it could be serious.

Connor McDavid suffers scary-looking leg injury in the final game of the season
McDavid, one of the best players in the NHL, crashed into the goal post and had to be carried off the ice. The injury comes on the last day of the Oilers' season, as they had already been eliminated from playoff contention. UPDATE: The Oilers announced that x-rays came back negative, but McDavid will need to undergo an MRI back in Edmonton.

Why didn’t rest Connor McDavid when they knew they weren’t making the playoffs?? Take some lessons from the NBA. Lebron sat out the last 6 games because the Lakers were NOT making the playoffs. #protectyourstarplayers #oilers
