Learning
Overview

NGA Education aims to engage and inspire students across many learning areas, including the visual arts and design, through programs and resources that are aligned to the Australian Curriculum. Students will be supported to develop critical and creative thinking skills through making and responding to works of art.

Explore Australia's history, and cultural and national identity through our Australian art collection, which includes the largest collection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art in the world.

Discover a world of art from our historic Asian art collection to modern art of Europe and America and contemporary global perspectives.

Please note that the Sidney Nolan Ned Kelly Series will be coming off display at the NGA in April 2018 to prepare for touring Australia.
