We are people in the northern suburbs of Narrm / so-called Melbourne who come together to organise and resist absolutely incursions of fascism, islamophobia, or racism of any kind, as well as state repression, into our local communities.

We acknowledge that we are organising on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations, and aim to provide solidarity with Indigenous struggles for justice & sovereignty. We seek to dismantle colonial structures in our communi...ties, as well as those upholding ableism, sexism, queerphobia and transphobia.

We are committed to the power of collective direct action and community self-defence against the far-right. We are committed to non-hierarchical organising and working in cooperation with other anti-racism groups across so-called Melbourne.

Although we come from a range of political traditions, we stand staunch together upon the following Points of Unity:

1. We organise and mobilise against and confront fascist and far-right movements to stop them in their activities - organising, recruiting, or spreading their violent and hateful ideology.
2. We understand anti-fascism as a frontline defence of the wider movements and struggles that are necessary to tear down all structures of oppression and class rule; including patriarchy, queerphobia, transphobia, ableism, white supremacy, racism, reactionary nationalism, and capitalism.
3. We believe that opposition to the far-right must also extend to opposing the racist history and practices of the Australian state, in particular in relation to both colonisation and the border regime.
4. We believe that when the working classes — including the most oppressed and immediately targeted communities — unite and organise, we can together defeat and dismantle racist and fascist movements and ideologies.
5. We do not rely on or make appeals to the Australian state, legal system or police to deal with the far-right. The police and the state uphold the status quo and defend existing structures of oppression and class rule, the police and the state attack us and everyone else who resists this oppression.
6. We believe that all targets of racist and fascist violence have the right to defend themselves.
7. We believe that an attack on one is an attack on all. We act together on the basis of solidarity and mutual aid, and we stand in support and defence of all groups who are attacked by the far-right, fascists and the state.
