The โLion of London Bridgeโ has admitted he is lucky to be alive after finding himself surrounded by the three jihadis on the night of the terror attack.
Roy Larner appeared on ITVโs Good Morning Britain, where he spoke out about the attack that left eight people dead for the first time on TV.

Speaking to presenters Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid about the night of terror, Roy said: โHow lucky I am to be here and talk to you, I donโt know.โ
He also showed off the horrific injuries he suffered while fighting the three jihadis at once โ including a huge wound on his neck and the back of his head.

He said: โThe one in front of me pulled out a knife, or whatever it was, and started shouting about Allah and Islam. Thatโs why I just tried to fight back.
โThe other two were going towards the restaurant, so as I was maybe doing so well on one bloke, the other two have come back and helped him, and Iโve had three of them around me.โ
Roy said the other two men were advancing on a restaurant, where families and children were inside, but turned back in an attempt to kill him.

His actions on the night were described as โan act of extraordinary heroismโ by co-host Morgan.
Roy added: โMaybe next time I might do something different, maybe not. Itโs an instant reaction and adrenaline runs into you.โ
Khuram Butt, Rachid Redouane and Youssef Zaghba drove a van into pedestrians on London Bridge before stabbing innocent people in Borough Market.
All three men were killed at the scene by police.
