Key Marco Cat
This carving of a cat dates to AD 1400-1500 and was found at the archaeological site of Key Marco. This site was inhabited by the Calusa, who lived on Florida's southwest coast. This statuette was digitized using 3D laser scanning and imaging by a team of specialists from the University of South Florida Library's Digital Heritage and Humanities Collections.
