The schedule is as follows, please check back throughout the year as we update this page with specific information and booking links:

The National Visual Art Education Conference (NVAEC) took place from 21–23 January 2019 at the National Gallery of Australia. To access video recordings of keynote presentations by Sandra Jackson-Dumont, John Armstrong, Dr Flossie Chua and Anne Smith, feature artists Sally Smart, Ben Quilty, Lisa Reihana and paper presentations by over 35 practitioners go to the videos tab at the NVAEC website.

The following professional learning sessions are free of charge for educators, bookings are essential. These sessions are often fully booked, and we often have a waiting list, so if you have reserved a place and are no longer able to attend please email education@nga.gov.au to advise us.

Professional learning sessions for groups of teachers are also organised on request all year and can be tailored to a variety of areas of the collection and emphasis.
